ABSTRACT

Rheumatoid Arthritis is an auto-immune disease affecting joints Madhuca indica has been
used traditionally as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-arthritic remedy. Reported
molecules from inner bark and leaf of Madhuca indica were taken and their biological
activity was then confirmed with the help of PASS Server. The chemical structures were
then drawn with the help of ChemSketch. Reported RA proteins CHI3L1 and CHIT1 were
targeted and their best ligands were selected from PDBSum. Docking of the ligands from
Madhuca indica was done and comparison was made with already reported ligands on
PDBSum. The ADMET analysis of the ligands was then done with the help of SwissADME
so as to ascertain the best ligand against the RA proteins.
