Descriptive Writing

Write two descriptive paragraphs suggested by the youtube video. You should write one about
the atmosphere, and one about inside the cabin. Use the success criteria and planning sheet
below to help you.

Success Criteria:
● Use strong vocabulary (adjectives, verbs)
● Senses
● Show not tell
● Varied sentence lengths and types
● Interesting sentence openers
● 3rd person
● 200-250 words
● Zoom technique (focus on individual parts of the image at once and do not go from place
to place in the room)
