ADS- FAQs

Q: Is this opportunity for FTC or FTE roles in ADS? 


A: ADS is hiring for both FTC and FTE and the selection to FTC or FTE will depend on the interview
scores. 
  
Q: I am currently an FTC in CS. Would I be eligible for FTC or FTE roles in ADS? 
A: The eligibility to FTE/FTC will depend on assessment scores and your performance in the ADS
selection process. 
  
Q: I am currently an FTC in CS. Will I get a fresh FTC contract document while joining in ADS? 
A: Those who are selected in ADS and accept the offer will be given separate contract from ADS.  
  
Q: Is this opportunity open to all FTCs in CS? 
A: Yes, this opportunity is open to all FTCs who meet the basic eligibility criteria (CAP, PIP, Versant cut-
off) 
 
Q: Will I get an increase in compensation if I get selected for this opportunity? 
A: The compensation offered would be as per ADS pay ranges. ADS salary ranges are mentioned above
and your salary will be according to that range. In case your current salary range is much higher and you
are not comfortable with the range mentioned above, you may chose not to apply.  
  
Q: Will I get a chance to get converted full time if I am offered FTC role in ADS? 
A: FTC Conversion opportunity in ADS will be assessed after 12 months from the date of joining the role
in ADS based on business need and performance.  
  
Q: When will I get to know status of conversion in CS? 
A: You will get to know the status of conversion two to three weeks prior to your contract-end date. 
  
Q: Can I apply for this opportunity after I know about the status of my conversion in CS? 
A: ADS is actively hiring now and they need to onboard new batches. Hence, you have to go through the
selection process in ADS now if you are interested in pursuing this  opportunity. 
  
Q. My contract is only ending in 2021. Can I apply for this opportunity after I know about the status of
my conversion in CS in 2021? 
A: ADS is actively hiring now and they need to onboard new batches. Hence, you have to go through the
selection process in ADS now if you are interested in pursuing this opportunity. 
  
Q. My contract is only ending in 2021. If I choose not to apply for this opportunity, will more such
opportunities be opened? 
A: We will share other relevant opportunities again for everyone basis business need. 
  
Q. If I get converted to FTE in CS, will I get an FTC or FTE role in ADS? 
The eligibility to FTE/FTC in ADS will depend on assessment scores and your performance in the ADS
selection process and it is not related to your conversion status in CS. 
  
Q. If I get converted to FTE in CS after I take up FTC opportunity in ADS, can I come back to CS? 
No, you will have to continue in the ADS role since a new FTC/FTE contract will be given to you in ADS. 
  
Q: Will I get converted to FTE in CS?  
A: A conversion opportunity at CS depends on multiple factors such as business requirement, your
individual performance and conduct. Based on these factors, a conversion decision will be
communicated to you two-three weeks prior to the contract end date.  
  
Q: Will we get more such opportunities outside of CS, in future?  
A: We will share other relevant opportunities again for everyone basis business need. 
  
Q: What is the eligibility criteria for this opportunity? 
A: Versant score and CAP/PIP status would be used as basic eligibility criteria. Over and above this, you
will have to go through the assessments designed for FTC/FTE roles in ADS.  
  
Q. I am currently based out of a location outside of Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Delhi. Will I get
relocation benefit if I am selected for this role? 
A: Relocation benefits would be provided if you are offered an FTE role. The benefit will be offered
immediately.   
  
Q. I am a VCS employee based out of a location outside of Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Delhi. Will I
get relocation benefit if I am selected for this role? 
A: Relocation benefits would be provided if you are offered an FTE role. The benefit will be offered
immediately.   
  
Q. I am based out of a location currently, which is not in the 4 locations that ADS is hiring. What if I am
selected for FTC role? 
A: Relocation is not provided for selection to FTC role in ADS. Therefore, you many choose to take up
FTC role outside your home location if you are willing to relocate at your own cost. 
  
Q. I am an employee based out of a location outside of Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Delhi. Can I work
from home if I get selected for this role?  
A: Currently majority of employees are working from home until further notice. Those who need to
relocate for the ADS role will do so when the travel ban is lifted. WFH guidance is applicable for both FTC
and FTE selects. 
  
Q. How do I know if I would be offered an FTC or an FTE contract in ADS? 
A: ADS has both FTE (permanent) and FTC (12 months Contract) opportunity and based on the selection
criteria and your performance in the selection process, you may get selected to either of them.
