2. Illustrate a plant cell and animal cell with their organelles (10 pts.)

3. Illustrate one body System nervous, circulatory, digestive, etc. with the different
organs (choose one only) 10 pts.

2. List down the importance of water in the environment (5 pts.)

water is to propel plant growth;
provide a permanent dwelling for species that live within it,
provide a temporary home or breeding ground for multiple amphibians, insects and
other water-birthed organisms;
And to provide the nutrients and minerals necessary to sustain physical life.

3. List down the importance of soil (5 pts.)

Soil support roots and keep them upright for growth.
Soils provide plants with essential minerals and nutrients.
Soils provide air for gaseous exchange between roots and atmosphere.
Soils protect plants from erosion and any other destructive physical, biological
and chemical activity.
Soil hold water (moisture) and maintain adequate aeration.

4. Enumerate the different types of Soil (5 pts.)

5. Enumerate the importance of sunlight in the biosphere. (5 pts.)

Sun is the primary source of energy in the biosphere. It allows producers to
manufacture chemical energy that fuels all cellular functions. It provides the
thermal energy that keeps an ideal temperature, which is suited to support
life. Without the energy coming from the sun, life would not be possible on
Earth.
