Good afternoon sisters,

*To those who don't know me, I'm Sis Sarah Lagmay and I'm the Gift of Life
Coordinator for
HOLD.
**As you know I'm the HOLD Gift of Life Coordinator.
Before we start with our HOLD conference, I just have a short GOL announcement for
the HH leaders. As you all probably know, in the Gift of Life Ministry, our
advocacy is to defend and promote life. And part of that is raising awareness and
educating ourselves on what harms life - one of that is IVF or In-Vitro
Fertilization. So to the HH leaders, after Today's conference, I'll be sending to
you in our messenger group the Catholic's teaching on IVF. I'll ask Sis Bong or Sis
Beth to email you, the HH leaders, a copy since I don't know the emails of all the
HH leaders.

We, in the GOL ministry, strongly encourage you HH leaders to discuss it in one of
your HH meetings. But since Catholic teaching on IVF is not common knowledge, I
would like to ask the HH leaders to read and understand the material first before
bringing it down to your HH. If it's clear to you, then that's good, go ahead with
adding it to your Households. But after reading, if you have doubts, if you
disagree, please talk to your Unit leaders first or any from the HOLD core or
message me so we can talk about it before you discuss it with your HH. Or I can set
up an informal meeting with sis Nida and Bro Rey, our GOL ministry heads, and they
may be able to address ur doubts and clarify things about IVF.

Why am I stressing this? Because as HH leaders it is our responsibility. It is

essential that important Catholic teachings that we bring to our members are clear
to us first as we would want to guide them to the correct path.

know what's coming...and so that if this doesn't get discussed to your HH by end of
this year or at most by end of january next year, you can remind your HH leaders.
