OBJECTIVE
As a prospective Computer Engineer with an electrical engineering focus, my goal is to help pave
the way of the future while also continuously learning from hands on experiences and those
around me. I have specific interests in hardware, software, and security aspects of computers.
My career goals are to advance the field of hardware and circuit design while also advancing my
personal knowledge to help make me a successful Engineer and a well-rounded individual.

EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering | Iowa State University
AUGUST 2014 – November 2020 | Major GPA: 3.07
I have experience in digital VLSI design, embedded systems engineering (registers, assembly
language, and C programming), object-oriented programming (Java), electric circuits (analysis
and design), and digital logic design. I have also worked on different collaborative projects
including designing a digital alarm clock for EE 330, programming a Roomba to emulate a Mars
rover for CPR E 288, and designing a processor for CPR E 381. See the “Projects” tab on my
website for more accomplishments.

EXPERIENCE
ASIC Physical Design Intern | Hewlett Packard Enterprise
MAY 2020 – AUGUST 2020 | 40 hours/week
I learned the back end physical design flow and worked towards getting the team ready for 7nm
synthesis of designs. I primarily wrote TCL scripts that loaded in necessary files and ran Synopsys
tool commands. This involved floorplanning, placing cells, routing paths, and extraction. Since this
was new territory for the team in general, there were many challenges. I read manuals frequently
to learn how to use the tools and how to make things work in 7nm specifically. My work will make
transitioning to the 7nm process easier for the team and I learned a lot while doing so.
Student IT Support & Systems Analyst I | Iowa State University (CSSM)
MAY 2018 – CURRENT | 20 hours/week
Assisting users with solving general computer issues such as printing difficulties, network
connectivity, computer speed, performing machine repairs, and deploying virtual machines,
among other things. I am also tasked with redeploying machines for new users, adding them to
the proper locations in active directory, the proper collections for SCCM, and onsite set up of the
machine. Upon completion of my degree, I was promoted to systems analyst I and was assigned
additional responsibilities, including training and oversight of new student employees.
Maintenance Technician | Green Hills Retirement Community
MARCH 2017 – MAY 2018 | 30 hours/week
As a member of the maintenance team, I performed general repairs for residents as well as
building upkeep as delegated by state code. These duties included but were not limited to IT
solutions, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and lawn care.
SKILLS
• Programming IDE’s: Eclipse, Visual Basic, • Server management: Windows 2012,
Android Studio SCCM, ADUC, CentOS.
• Programming Languages: C, Java, Python, • Hardware design tools: Quartus,
TCL MATLAB, Altera, PSPICE.

ACTIVITIES
I enjoy problem solving and learning about new technologies. In addition to my class and
workload, I have been involved in the game development club, IASG, IEEE, and the Japanese
Association. I have also participated in the Cyber Defense Competitions hosted by ISU, taking
first place Spring 2018 and 2nd place in Fall 2018. Additionally, I volunteered in the Boone
Dragoon River Romp event, helping clean garbage and debris from local waterways.
