Introduction from the Executive Director

Following the fantastic success of our first class of Masters
in Financial Analysis (MFA) graduates in 2017, we are thrilled
that our 2018 graduates have improved on that success and
achieved a record employment rate for the programme,
with 97% of our MFA2018 cohort receiving and accepting job
offers within three months of graduation.
Our pool of finance-savvy graduates secured roles across
the world. Almost two-thirds of the class (63%) took up roles
in the UK, demonstrating their commitment to remaining
in London after graduating. The remaining third of the
class accepted roles in 11 different countries worldwide,
showcasing their truly global outlook.

The MFA is designed to give graduates a solid grounding in
the latest financial tools and markets. A significant majority Executive Director, Head of Career Centre
of the class (90%) therefore accepted roles in the finance London Business School
sector. For the second year running, the majority of those
went into investment banking (63%), with investment
management and private equity each attracting around 10%
of graduates. Our MFA alumni also have the advantage of
building business knowledge as they enhance their finance
skills; 10% of 2018 graduates chose to put those skills to work
in different industries including consulting and fintech.

The Career Centre comprises more than 45 permanent staff, many of whom have real-world finance experience
to help students achieve their career goals. Team members include:
