3 Objectives of the Study


 Main objective
 Main objective of the study is to evaluate the “Cash
Management Of City Bank LTD”.

 Other objectives
Other objectives are as follows:

 To familiarize about Cash Management activities of City Bank.


 To discuss about cash received & Payment procedure of City Bank.
 To describe a brief description about Cash, Cash management, Cash
Management Product, Operation department, Activities of cash
department etc.
 To explore about Funded outstanding 2017, Remittance of 5 years, LBC,
OBC and
 To explore about Funded outstanding, 2017, Remittance of 5 years, LBC,
OBC and Clearing service of City bank LTD.
 To identify the problems regarding cash management of City Bank.
 To suggest some recommendations for overcome the problems.
7.1 Findings
The study discovered the follow:
 Cash received and the payment procedure of city bank is very
easy
 Remittance is gradually increased but satisfactory level
 In word and outward bill collecting of city bank Banani Branch are
gradually increasing.
 The clearing service of city bank of Banani branch is satisfactory
level.
 Their process of transaction is time consuming and critical.
 City bank customer’s have been enjoying 24/7 service though City
bank located around the country. It has 335 ATMS.
 The cash inflows of City bank are very good. Because the number
of A/C open, deposit collect, FDR and remittance collect is very
large.
 Some time City bank can manage its cash efficiently. It can
forecast its cash flows.
 When City bank collects excess money it sends the money to its
main branch. For this liabilities is decreased/
 City bank has so much modern banking facilities. Such as: Mobile
recharge, credit card service, BE FTN. A/C information. ATM
Location etc.
 City bank has online cash transfer process. Such as RTGS, BEF TN
BACH etc.
 Training facilities is not sufficient especially for the lower and
mid-level officer.
 All important document of the City bank Ltd are not protected
from fire in storage.
 CBL also have real time cash transfer process in city Touch App.
 7.2 Recommendations
 The study suggests the following recommendations:
 Cash received and payment procedure of city bank should be easy for
customers satisfaction.
 Branch support unit should be increased, Because it, act’s as the
central processing hub for widespread Branch support network of
city bank.
 The process of clearing service of City bank should be very easy. The
management should do it as early as possible. For these customers is
increasing day by day.
 Customer’s satisfaction is very important, for this transaction process
should be developed.
 They should innovate new product and service for cash management
and introduce it in market.
 City bank should forecast its cash flows effectively. It they do it can’t
depend on other bank
 It should collect a lot of money through various processes. In this way
it can easily decrease its liability.
 City bank should innovate new modern banking facilities like other
bank.
 Online cash transfer process of city bank takes 20 to 25 times should
be decrease for customer satisfaction.
 The security level of city bank should be improved .In the time of
remit found transfer high security level mandatory .Though there is
premium on remit fund but it is limited.
