The hottest lame issue pakistan has ever faced is malala yusuf zai’s incident that shook the world by
storm. Taliban took the complete responsibility of the attack on this education activist teenager, who
was on her way back to her home after school. The hype was created by worldwide media on this
somehow irrelevant issue, in a country where hundreds of minors lose their lives in the bomb attacks
carried by foreign agencies . this is difficult to conceive that Muslims are responsible for these mass
killings , as portrayed by the media whatsoever. Malala wrote an autobiography which was covered
worldwide by the international conspiracy devising media, with asole purpose to degrade the Muslims.

She supported the blasphemy as the freedom of expression in her book, which resulted in the ban of her
book in all private schools of pakistan. This was a moment where giants like CNN, BBC and Guardian
started to humiliate the Pakistani approach to the issue, reporting Pakistanis as extremists. However,
malala kept on appearing on the mainstream channels globally , painted as a hero for the audience.

Nobel peace prize award was another feather in the already loaded cap, luckily or unlickly she never
won the award , but received tons of honoraray awards for her work. Meanwhile, she became a living
legend for the western youth, which greatly supported her valor. Celebrities kept on meeting her on
regular basis, Queen and Obama invited her to their respective palaces .

Although, the whole country stood with malala when she got shot by taliban, praying for her with tears
in eyes. Soon, the first controversy regarding her surgery came into being, when her fast recovery and
change in face cuts made people curious, followed by a great international support. In an interview to
amanpour, cnn, malala kept on emphasizing the fact that women education is cumpulsory, but
neglected the fact that she was representing a country where only less than 5% of the land is occupied
by the extremists. She was addressing the world with an aim to educate women globally, but never
came to realize that all of the time, she was used by the media and international forces to demolish the
well being of pakistan in regard to its respect for women. Irony lies in the fact that by each passing
minute, a girl is raped in the US and the whole western culture is highly male dominating.

The girl has got some exceptional qualities like a good sense of humor and talent to scandalize the
muslim world, whereas lacks the quality of highlighting the major issues in pakistan, like the drone
attacks and suicide bombings.

A general public living in australia , for instance , only stereotypes a fact that all pakistanis are the same
and there is no scope for the women education in pakistan. In my humble opinion,the status of malala is
not neutral and the western world is using the girl to devise a propoganda against pakistanis. The only
intent of the media is demoralize the pakistani nation. I reside in the same country and feel that the
women have a upper hand in evereything. People respect educated women and mostly working ladies
arte found in all cities of the country.
