Sub: Revision of GPRS/EDGE tariff applicable to 2G Data Card and Voice plans- reg. Circular T&C-CM No.48/10-11 dated 20.08.2010 on the subject mentioned above has been withdrawn and revised order issued as under:Kindly refer to this office order of even No. dated 09.01.2010 and subsequent orders issued from time to time vide which GPRS/EDGE tariff was intimated. Now, it has been decided by competent authority to rationalize the GPRS/EDGE tariff under 2G postpaid and prepaid mobile services with the following terms and conditions:a) The special data card postpaid tariff plan with FMC Rs.299, Rs.499, Rs.649 and prepaid data recharge voucher MRP Rs.329, Rs.549 and Rs.715 to be withdrawn. b) GPRS/EDGE tariff for both 2G data card and voice plan to be made uniform as under:-.

^ MRP of RCV is inclusive of Service Tax @10.30%. Circles can suitably adjust the MRP in the price band upto Rs.3 (+/-) of above price considering the local market condition and technical feasibility.

The free data usage allowed is also applicable while in national roaming. The usage charge beyond free usage is same for Home LSA and roaming. The RCVs mentioned above will increase both main and dedicated account validity.

f) In case of Assam, J&K and North East LSAs instructions issued by DoT/TRAI regarding validity is to be complied with. g) The existing postpaid customers in the above data plans will continue to avail the tariff upto a period of 6 months from the date of activation as per TRAI guidelines and subsequently migrated to other available data plans. Customers may be informed about withdrawal of plan and suitably educated to choose the correct data plan considering their data usage. 2. 3. All other terms and conditions will remain same. The above tariff will be implemented with effect from 01.09.2010.

4. This may be brought to the notice of all concerned for taking necessary action in this regard. Press note and proper advertisement as deemed fit may be made to generate adequate response. 5. The impact of above tariff needs to be analyzed and feed back submitted on monthly basis to BSNL HQ for future reference on Fax No. 011-23329125 and e-mail prema@bsnl.co.in or skmohakud@bsnl.co.in.
