Very often people choose to rent a house rather than buy it. The main reason
for this decision is the uncontrollable property price. I will discuss some
advantages and disadvantages in the following paragraph.
Firstly, speaking about the advantages of renting a house, we should mention
that you will be much more mobile. Depending on which part of the city you need
an apartment, you choose a place to rent. If you have changed your place of work,
then you are just looking for a new place and move. Secondly, rented housing is
much more affordable and much cheaper. Especially when it comes to those cases
when apartments are rented together with friends.
But there are also disadvantages of renting a house. You will have to deal
with rent increases on a regular basis. Also, you will not be able to arrange the
apartment on your own. No repairs, purchase of new furniture, or re-wallpapering
can be done without the permission. In addition, at any moment you may be asked
to vacate the apartment. Perhaps the owner will decide to sell the house or will
come to the conclusion that you are not good enough for his apartment, or maybe
someone will simply offer him more money for rent.
In conclusion, those who are in the decision-making process should carefully
weigh the pros and cons before making a decision. In my opinion, the only
significant disadvantage of buying a house is its cost. Therefore, we have to admit
the undoubted advantage of renting a house.
