Answers to questions:

1. Vector graphics - a way of representing objects and images in computer

graphics, based on the mathematical description of elementary geometric
objects, usually called primitives, such as points, lines, splines, Bezier curves,
circles and circles, polygons.

2. Vector graphics are a collection of mathematically described objects. This

provides unlimited scalability. When you enlarge a raster image, its quality
will certainly be lost, the size of vector illustrations, on the contrary, can be
freely changed without losing their visual characteristics. This is possible due
to the fact that each point of the bitmap image has its own coordinates, and
between the points there are curves, the appearance of which depends on the
location of the points. Another advantage of vector images is their light
weight. These files can be easily sent by e-mail and can be edited by any
computer. An important advantage of vector images is their clarity in large
format printing, which determines their popularity when creating advertising
banners. Also, the undoubted advantage of vector graphics is that the designer
has the ability to work with individual fragments of images. You can move and
rotate individual lines and areas, change the color of picture fragments, group
objects, etc.

3. The main disadvantage of vector graphics is the lack of realism of the

image. In raster images, each pixel can be painted with a separate color, in
vector images, whole objects are painted over. In addition, when working with
vector graphics, you cannot use filter libraries that can create interesting
effects on bitmap images. It is also worth noting that vector images are
"demanding" to the format, they can be edited only in the program where they
were created. It is difficult, and sometimes impossible, to export a raster image
to a vector format.

4. Vector graphics - a way of representing complex objects and images in

computer graphics, based on the use of geometric primitives such as points,
lines, splines and polygons.

5. A bitmap image takes up more disk space than the same one rendered in a
vector.

6. Science and engineering, architecture, medicine, arts, entertainment and

business.

7. Such pictures are ideal for designing logos, creating infographics, working
with text, drawing patterns (patterns). Illustrator is essentially a tool for
creating, not modifying, graphics and images. All vector graphics created in
this graphics editor can be easily scaled, from tiny favicon thumbnails to giant
billboards. The program's capabilities extend not only to the creation of vector
design elements, but also to work with raster images made with Photoshop.

8. CorelDraw, Sketch, Inkscape, Affinity Designer, Gravit

9. In my work I used the Pen tool, the Brush tool, I used the Drag Selecting
Tool to change the shapes, I used the "rectangle" and "ellipse", experimented
with stroke styles, created a cutout mask, etc.

10. Raster images are created in raster graphic editors, vector - in vector, there
is also the possibility of converting a vector into a raster and vice versa. The
process of converting a bitmap to a vector is called vectorization or tracing.
