Ahmed: Historic City Core Tour: a walk led by students of Masters in Heritage Management at
Ahmedabad University around key monuments and public spaces at the the historic city core
From Temple to Mosque: A walk developed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
Food Walk: a walk led by students of Masters in Heritage Management at Ahmedabad University, highlighting
culinary traditions in Ahmedabad within the old city (includes some testing opportunities)
Women in Ahmedabad: a walk led by students of Masters in Heritage Management at Ahmedabad University,
highlighting the role of women in the historic city and various movements that took place here.
Crafts Walk: a walk exploring various craft traditions available within the old city of Ahmedabad, a UNESCO
World Heritage Property
Morning walks conclude with a traditional local breakfast, and evening walks conclude with an option for having dinner at
the open food market of Manek Chowk.
Registrations are required to participate in these walks. Contribution for morning heritage walk (Rs. 500, breakfast
included), contribution for evening heritage walk: Rs. 400 (dinner not included)
