 My family story started across the other side of the sea. It started in Jerusalem,
which is a city in the country of Palestine. The father of my grandmother travelled
by boat with the intention of arriving to the US, but he could not, so he had to stay
in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico where I was born.
 He married a Mexican woman, and then three generations after him I was born in
the same city. I grew up and stayed there during my childhood and adolescence.
Back at that time, the city was not dangerous and we did a lot of pranks to our
neighbours and we went through a lot of adventures. Nothing too serious.
 Growing up I tried to sell and read whatever I could as I knew I wanted to be a
businessman or a writer. This did not happen without troubles. In one occasion, I
tried to sell alcoholic beverages in my school, and I ended up being called by the
school principal. Luckily, I just had warning.
 After I turned 18 years old, I still knew that I wanted to become a businessman. So,
while a degree is not necessary, I wanted to have a formation, and I went to study
Accounting and Finance at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. I enjoyed my studies a
lot, and I made a lot of good friends which sometimes I worked with them.
 When my great grandfather arrived, he told our family that we were very lucky.
While Mexico has a lot of resources, Palestine suffers from scarcity. I got his
entrepreneurial traits, as he started his business from nothing, as me. He also
inherited me his resilience for creating a better life for him and others.
