INTRODUCTION

A Crane Shipping System is a device that ships items within a given space in a
vertical or horizontal position. In manufacturing, engineering, metallurgical industry,
commerce, on oil platforms, refineries and nuclear power plants, cranes are also used.

OPERATION
An operator who sits in a cabin suspended from the trolley is operating the crane.
The trolley runs along rails placed on the boom and girder's top or sides. To lift the load,
normally containers, the operator runs the trolley over the ship. The container is lifted,
moved over the dock, and placed on a truck frame chassis(trailer) to be taken to the storage
yard until the spreader locks on to the container. In order to load them onto the ship, the
crane also lifts containers from the dock chassis.
