    Using “Goal Seek” for Labor Related Costs (LRC)


    Open the LRC worksheet. Click on What-If Analysis, select Goal Seek.

    See the values that are typed in the Goal seek box below. The Set Cell is the cell reference for the budget
    amount that you have available to spend. The “To value:” is the budget amount you have to spend. The “By
    changing cell” is the cell reference field for salary dollars that you can spend and still stay in budget. Click okay.

    The results are as follows:
