Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Teionces aD Mlore, tslamabad, 45650 Pakistan No. PIEAS-671(50)/27-2020 Dated: 17-11-2020 NOTIFICATION It is notified for information of all concerned that PIEAS has approved the following for compliance and strict observance:- * All BS academic sessions will be shifted to online mode of teaching with immediate effect. + The online academic session (excluding labs/practicals) will conclude on 3" week of December, 2020. All HoDs are to ensure that the Mid Term exams are taken before this date. + The terminal exams date will be announced in December, 2020 * The BS session will be called back to PIEAS to complete their labs/practices and this date would be announced later. Summer semester may also be used to complete the labs/practicals and final year projects. * All BS students are to vacate the hostels by Friday 20, November 2020, Exemption is allowed for those BS students having connectivity problems They are allowed to stay in hostels after COVID-19 testing, however their classes would remain online. + They have to provide an undertaking duly certified by HoD/Dean and endorsed by Registrar to Head RSD + AIMS and PhD students will stay in hostels including day scholars for on campus physical classes. No accommodation fee will be charged from day scholars for this period. It is mandatory to provide COVID-19 test report before joining on-campus studies from NIH * No student shuttle will commute from henceforth till further orders. The students will not be allowed to leave the campus. In case, any student leaves the campus the resulting academic loss will be his/her responsibility.
