The Similarities Between a Poet and a Scientist

Poet and scientist both are the different person but they have many similarities. Poet and

scientist both represent their imaginary thought. Poets and scientists both are creative and bring

something new to us. Between a poet and a scientist, both have some similarities, first of all,

both of them are creative, secondly both of them are patient on their work and lastly both of them

are professional poets or scientist.

The most similarities between a poet and a scientist, that they are both creative. When a

poet writes poetry, he or she has to writes each line in creative thought. So that, the poetry is

acceptable to everyone. Similarly, a scientist has to think creatively about solving any scientific

problems. To describe, research or explore something new; a scientist has to think about

creatively.

In the next similarity between a poet and a scientist, that they are both very patient. A

poet has to write a poem with patience. To write a poem, the poet has to think about for a long

time. Each sentence and each word has to be written by deep thinking with patience. Similarly, a

scientist is also much more patience to any experiment or to solving any scientific problem.

When a scientist tries to solve any problem and explore or research something, he or she

repeatedly fail for the final result but do not stop trying. He or she succeeds by patiently trying.

Both a poet and a scientist reach their desire goals patiently.

 Finally, there is a similarity between a poet and a scientist that they are both professional.

After some time, a poet makes his or her choice to be a professional poet to publish his or her

collections, and to express his or her talent to the audience. So, a poet decides to continue the

career as a professional poet. Similarly, a scientist also decides to pursue the career as a

professional scientist. Then the scientist works professionally as a company or government

scientist; as astronauts in space; or as educators.

In between a poet and a scientist both are professional, their creative thinking and their

patient are similar. Both have to think creatively and patiently for their achievement. Overall, a

poet or a scientist both work as professionals. Both are professional poet or professional scientist.

Though poetry and science are quite different but there are similarities between a poet and a

scientist.
