 As shown in the above diagram, horizontal, vertical and diagonal communication

exists in any organization.

 A managing director or director can give orders to lower hierarchical managers.
 Also horizontal communication exists between two directors of same level.
 There also can be cross communication i.e. diagonal communication between
manger and director of other hierarchical.
 An employee may make upward communication.
