MP CIVIL JUDGE EXAM SYLLABUS

The Examination shall be conducted in three stages:

• Online Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice Objective test, without negative


marking)
• Main Examination (Descriptive, written exam)
• Viva-voce (Personal interview)

PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

The Online Preliminary Examination is of 02:00 hours, with 150 objective-type


questions of 01 mark each and there is no negative marking. The break-up is as below:

MAINS EXAMINATION

The Main Examination consists of four Question Papers each paper carrying 100 marks
(Total of 400 marks). The time period for each question paper will be of 3 hours.

PAPER-I (100 Marks):

The maximum marks for the personal interview are 50. And a candidate must secure at
least 20 marks qualify for the final merit list.

Note: Only the marks from the main exam and the interview/viva-voce will be used for arriving
at the final rankings.
