VO: You can get rich driving a truck. That may sound impossible to some of you, but it can be done.
One such man is Aditya Raj Shah, who started out with one truck and grew to be 100 Crore company
with thousands of trucks.

VO: Aditya Raj Shah grew up in middle class family; his father was a truck driver.

VO: In 1991, His father disowned him as he did an inter-caste marriage. There’s nothing like being put in
a situation that forces you into learning something, to stay alive!

VO: Without family support, things were really bad for him at that time. But, he continued the journey
with his life partner. To survive and to meet the ends was his priority.

VO: Unable to afford a driver, he decided to perform the task himself. He was driving day and night from
Ahmedabad – Pune and Nagpur – Kolkata to deliver goods. Those long highways seem pretty tiring for
him.

VO: With his life partner support at every step, he was able to tackle every stone in front of him and
created a path of its own.

VO: Within 3 years, he was able to live a stable life. So he decided to expand his business further.

VO: Managing business begins with managing costs. He soon realized that the money was about the
same, except the cost of fuel was way higher.

His need for fuel efficient tyres led to his friendship with JK Tyre.

He found JK tyre were durable, fuel efficient and trust worthy in long run. It’s after sales service and easy
process paved the way for his successful Journey in business.

VO: One of his proud moments was when he got selected for the prestigious “PHILIP USA INVESTOR
MEET” – which receives more than 10 lakh application from all over the world, every year and only top
500 firms are selected to have lunch with Honorable Mr. Barak Obama at Washington D.C. and he was
one of them.

VO: Currently his company owns fleet of 1048 tankers, LPG Carriers, and Cement trucks. His success
mantra - like a tissue paper soaks water you have to absorb market like that to be successful business
man.

VOICEOVER: JK tyre is more than a family. My elder daughter moved this business internationally and
has added 400 trucks to her portfolio. We are planning to start a business unit in Marie-line, USA and
service station of 5.5 lakh. Acre for a wheel alignment plant work is in progress in Pune.
