WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

•Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates about 80% of infections are spread by
touching contaminated surfaces in common areas at pubic places or healthcare
facilities. One sick person can contaminate half of the common surfaces within few
hours which can spread germs to many other people in a quick time.

•Regular housekeeping can’t get rid of germs as it temporarily removes contamination

& does not guarantee continued protection of high-touch surfaces. Spread of germs can
easily happen among people between cleaning intervals.

WHAT IS OUR SOLUTION?
Bacti Barrier is a global leader in applying antimicrobial solutions to not let contamination form on
all types of surfaces (hard as fiber or soft as fabric) so that users of the facility are always protected
from contracting contagious infections.
Our Science: We apply an invisible & odorless coating of Antimicrobial Surface Protection
everywhere inside the targeted area that immediately kills pathogens when they fall on it. Our surface
protection barrier does not let pathogens breed, colonize and spread to other user when they touch
surfaces. It is only applied once in 6 months and provides continuous protection in the future.

PROCESS
STEP 1
Contamination Assessment Through ATP/Swab Testing
•This is the most critical stage in our process. It allows us to formulate a
custom tailored antimicrobial plan based on the risk.
•Swab Testing – We take samples from various surfaces to test for
contamination. This gives us an accurate reading of the current levels and
risks and helps us measure appropriate level of disinfection.
•Method – Measuring the presence of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). ATP
reading on the tested surface indicates presence of pathogens as ATP is
found in their cell.

Electrostatic Application of Bacti Barrier Surface Protection

Our antimicrobial surface defense technology provides 24/7 protection against the growth of a wide range
of microbes, essentially, a germ on any surface of the facility will die instantly upon contact. This amazing
technology works like a tiny needle that punctures the cell of a pathogen. We apply an invisible, odorless,
eco- friendly non-hazardous antimicrobial chemical on all indoor surfaces to stop bacterial,
viral and fungal contamination.

Periodic Contamination Assessment

Immediately after applying our antimicrobial surface protection, we conduct assessment for treated surfaces
to measure reduction level of microbes. Plus we carry on this activity every second month for treated
areas to ensure that protection is maintained throughout the warranty period of 6 months.

 QUICK OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

•Bacti Barrier India first disinfects all kinds of surfaces in the facility to clean them off any kind of
biological contamination including all kinds of Bactria, Virus, Mold and Fungus.

•Post disinfection, we then apply antimicrobial surface coating with Organosilane technology to prevent
future contamination and built-up of germs. Therefore, keeping the entire facility always disinfected and
hygienic to protect employees from contagious infections.

 WORKING MECHANISM OF TECHNOLOGY

•Bacti Barrier India uses Organosilane antimicrobial (3-trimethoxy sylyl propyl dimethyl octadycyl
ammonium chloride) that has been developed by DOW.

•Organosilane antimicrobial has been in use since 1976 across the world for prevention against all kinds of
bacteria, virus, mold and fungus in public facility. The antimicrobial protective coating that we apply makes
an invisible, odorless and non-leaching protective layer on surface and keeps killing germs upon contact.

•The coating is a green technology that makes a long-term bond (for a minimum of 6 months) on surface
and physically rupture the cell wall of germs so that die instantly and lose ability to infect others who touch
the same surfaces.

 TESTING METHOD

•The best part of our technology is that is practically verifiable for effectiveness. We use ATP Monitoring
system to measure presence of germs in the facility before and after service.

•We continue to monitor this every 2nd month post service to ensure that the facility is always protected and
germs are not breeding anywhere in the treated facility.

•We use US-FDA and British Consortium approved Hygiena ATP devices for this purpose.

 CORONA VIRUS

•Our antimicrobial protective coating works on a physical killing method which rips apart microbes at the
cellular level and electrocutes them further so that the microbes die instantly and lose the ability to infect any
host (humans).

•The protective coating would kill any microbe that has a genome size of 5 kilobase or more.

•Corona virus genome size ranges between 27 to 34 kilobase, hence, Corona virus would be severely
electrocuted and killed on surfaces by our antimicrobial coating and any person who further touches this
surface would not contract the virus or any other disease-causing pathogens.
