UNIVERSITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
WEEKLY REPORT: WEEK 2

June 17, 2019. In the morning, we continued our assigned items for the Program
of Works for the Construction of Two-Storey Residential Hall. We worked out the
Masonry Works item. In the afternoon, we helped in verifying and measuring the
dimensions of some rooms and windows of the new University Hospital Building which
was still under construction. Afterwards, we resumed our works in our assigned POW.
We still encountered the same difficulties we had last week in calculating for the items
of the POW.

June 18, 2019. We were tasked to sort out the building plans for the construction
of the Administration Extension Building. And then we proceeded with our assigned
POW, working out the Falseworks Item.

June 19, 2019. During the morning, our OJT Coordinator, Engr. Obedencio,
asked us to accompany Engr. Vic Palattao in surveying for the re-alignment of the
Institute of Computer Applications Building Phase II. He instructed us some basic
knowledge as to how to use the electronic transit, and made us assist in pinpointing the
points for realignment. We the resumed with our assigned POW in the afternoon.

June 20, 2019. We first continued working out with our assigned items for the
POW, then Engr. Obedencio discussed to us how to create a PERT/CPM for a
Construction Project. He was working out with the POW for the VetMed Hospital
Teaching Building. In the afternoon, he proceeded discussing to us the Gantt Chart and
S-Curve, with still the POW for the VetMed Hospital Teaching Building as his example.
