Grandma Amy’s ground beef

Grandma’s ground beef she used to make all the time. I can’t remember where she got this
but she told me all this and I tried to get measurements as she was cooking a few years ago
I just never copied it electronically before.

Ok here goes.

1 ½ pounds ground beef

¾ cup soy sauce
¼ tespoon of crushed red peppers
6 cups of brown rice (make sure it’s hot!)
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of ginger (grated)
4 green onions chopped
½ cup of brown sugar (make sure it’s the light brown!)

Put the beef in a bigger frying pan and brown it. Put it in and crumble it as you go. Drain all
the grease when done. Then put in the sesame oil and garlic and giniger for a few minutes.
Maybe 2-3 minutes or so. You’ll know when it’s done. Then put in brown sugar, red peppers
and soy sauce. Cook it a few minutes (maybe 5 minutes) until some of your sauce dissipates.
Then add the green onions.
