Microservices
Microservice is an architectural style that structures an application as a
collection of services, modeled around a business domain. Each microservice is
an independent process that provides a unique business capability and it is
independently deployable, loosely coupled and encapsulated. Data in a
microservice can only be accessed from the service through APIs.
Event Store
Available from: 202001
Event store microservice collects events raised from the individual Microservices
and forwards it to the respective Microservice event using the streaming
platform. Event store is used to identify the current state of a business
transaction and can also be used for audit trail.
Generic Configuration
Available from: 202001
The generic configuration microservice helps an application to manage
application configuration as a configuration store. This solution provides an API-
based interface to add, update and retrieve configurations in the configuration
store.
Service Orchestrator
Available from: 202001
Service orchestrator microservice orchestrates commands or services that are
supported across Microservices. It provides an event interface to initiate a
sequence and executes it based on the execution sequence shared.
153
Temenos Transact
Service Orchestrator APIs are now available to monitor and analyse the
sequences in service orchestrator, query the sequences based on entity ID,
status and sequence ID and cancel the sequence execution using API.
Metering Microservice
Available from: 202004
A new microservice named Metering is introduced, which provides interface for
collecting the metrics data from Temenos modules. Metering metrics is broadly
classified as Business Value and API Usage. The day wise usage count of
these metrics is collected and made available through GET API interface.

Broker Fee Payment with Tax
Available from: 202004
Back-Dated purchase transactions – IS.BROKER.FEE.BALANCES table is
updated for each of the purchase contract with broker charges. If broker payment
fund transfer is posted for a set of transactions and the user entered a back-
dated purchase contract with the same date (previous record exist), the ID of the
table is appended with ‘-B’.
Example
Current date is 20200131, a back-dated purchase contract is entered with the status value date
as 20200115 and if a paid record in IS.BROKER.FEE.BALANCES is already available for the
same date (110123.GB0010001.10.USD.20200115), then new record is created with the ID as
110123.GB0010001.10.USD.20200115-B. Similarly, if -B record is also paid on the defined
frequency and again for the same date if one more purchase transaction is initiated, then the
record ID is appended with -B1 (110123.GB0010001.10.USD.20200115-B1), -B2, and so on.
