1) Doga- The Movie >> CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Suraj/ Doga

Suraj is a young boy whose parents were killed by Daku Halkan Singh
and he is seeking revenge from him. When his mentor starts facing
problems from the local rowdies he develops an alternate personality
by the name of Doga and punishes them. The character of Suraj aka Doga
is suffering from terrible anger of revenge from his parents death and
being unable to vent he starts taking his vengeance on criminals but
later realizes it as wrong and changes himself.

Adrak chacha

Adrak Chacha is mentor and guide of Suraj. Suraj loves and respects
him a lot. Adrak Chacha has a very respectful personality and he is a
very nice and intelligent man. He knows the ways of world and always
teaches Suraj how to live better. He is a very experienced man. He is
the reason Suraj is what he is and he does not know that Suraj is
himself Doga as he hates Doga for his cruelties.

Halkan Singh

Halkan Singh was a dacoit who ruled the Chambal ghati for decades
before turning into a politician just to save himself from the
clutches of law. He became a politician to have law in his hands and a
businessman to do illegal business. He is a friend of Abhyudaya Sinha.
Halkan Singh was the man who took Suraj under him for few months and
unknowingly gave him skills which he used later when he became Doga.
Halkan Singh was also responsible for the anger Doga has in him.
Halkan Singh gets killed by Abhyudaya Sinha.

Abhyudaya Sinha

Abhyudaya Sinha is a man of genius but is using it for very wrong

reasons. When a man is proved by society right many times then he
starts believing that he is right all the time, and if he becomes a
big man then society starts to suffer. He is a moralist person who
believes in changing the world for good but he never minds doing a
wrong for the sake of a big good. He plays mind games and uses Doga to
fulfill his dream of criminal-free city to dominate the city but his
philosophy of killing criminals to eliminate crime was later
challenged by Doga who for years himself was punishing the criminals
for the crime they did by killing them. Sinha kills his aide Halkan
Singh just to destroy Doga.

Inspector Cheetah

He is a no nonsense guy who takes no bullshit from any criminals. He

is the sign of purity in the movie. He beats criminals but never kills
them. He believes in the righteous judgment. He wants to arrest Doga
and begins searching for him. Cheetah met Suraj coincidentally because
his sister Monica has a huge crush on Suraj and is in love with him.

Monica

Monica is a news journalist and news anchor. She falls in love with
Suraj in the gym she goes every day. Suraj never shows much attention
to her but he likes her too in his heart. She is always trying to come
near him. She is the reason Inspector Cheetah and Suraj know each
other.

2) Doga- The Movie >> SYNOPSIS.

Suraj is a an orphan whose parents had been killed by dacoit Halkan
Singh in the village who later held him captive for several months
before he escaped to the city of Mumbai. He worked in a tea stall
where he got engage in a fight from which he was saved by Adrak
Chacha. He slept on footpath for many days. One day while sleeping on
pavement outside someone’s house, he meets Adrak Chacha by luck.
Chacha pities him and takes him to his place. He starts working there
as water boy and servant. His anger towards Halkan Singh increases
more and more through his haunting memory and every night he gets
nightmare about the night his parents were killed. He starts preparing
himself for the day when he would take his revenge. He starts working
out at the gym in the night secretly to build his body. Adrak Chacha
accidently finds him doing exercise with extreme determination and
takes him under his wing. Hereafter, Suraj starts growing big and
becoming strong under the guidance of Adrak Chacha.
Suraj is twenty two years old now. Adrak Chacha is gets involved in a
fight with some rowdies over land feud. Adrak Chacha and Suraj go to
police station for help where they are themselves treated badly by
police. Suraj gets angry and lays hand on one of the rowdies in the
police station and also mistakenly hits the inspector which further
leads to his arrest and third degree torture. Adrak Chacha later takes
promise from him that he will take control on his anger and won’t lay
hand on anyone until the reason requires it. Suraj promises him.
Another day at night rowdies again tries to hit Adrak Chacha over land
feud. Suraj cannot tolerate that so he disguises his look and beats
all the rowdies. He very badly beats all of them and laughs after a
very long time. He becomes Doga. He has now found a way to vent his
anger.
Abhyudaya Sinha is a minister who believes in removing the corruption
and has an ulterior motive of becoming the unchallenged man in the
town. He has a corrupt friend cum minister, Rameshwar Dayal who is
actually the dacoit Halkan Singh but had converted his name to become
minister and hide his identity. Abhyudaya is made what he is because
of Halkan Singh only. Halkan backed him up and also financed him. But
now Abhyudaya Sinha has upper hand and Halkan is afraid of him because
of his power. Abhyudaya comes to know about Doga and becomes very
interested in him. He understands his frustration but what he couldn’t
understand is why he is doing what he is doing.
Meanwhile Suraj meets Monica and Monica falls in love with him. She
tries to provoke him to fight for himself but he keeps ignoring her.
Later she comes to know that Adrak Chacha had taken promise from Suraj
that he won’t fight with anyone until the right reason prevails so she
understands. She starts respecting Suraj more for that. She makes him
meet his brother Inspector Cheetah who is just transferred to the city
and has promised himself that he will soon arrest Doga and punish him
but till then he won’t take any other case.
Adrak Chacha wants Suraj to pursue a career and not just do body
building in gym for rest of his life. Adrak Chacha also has an

ulterior motive to keeps Suraj busy so that he does not get involved
in the daily fights. He takes him to a man Rameshwar Dayal alias Daku
Halkan Singh, whom Adrak Chacha had done one favor years ago by saving
him from police in the night. He offered Adrak Chacha any help
wherever and whenever he wants in his lifetime. Adrak Chacha goes to
Dayal to ask the return for that favor by asking him to give a job to
Suraj. They go to meet him and everything turns out fine when in the
end someone calls Dayal on phone and he starts to laugh. Suraj
identifies his laugh as that laugh has haunted him for years. He
starts working for Dayal just to find a moment to catch him alone and
kill him. In the process he meets Abhyudaya Sinha and starts admiring
him and his philosophies. Suraj becomes Dayal’s disciple too and takes
him into his confidence. Suraj keeps extracting the information about
what Dayal is planning every night so later he could become Doga to
destroy his plans.
One day in the mishap, men of Dayal catch Doga, throw acid on him and
defeat him. They take him to the Dayal’s place. Dayal unmasks him to
know who he is and finds that he is no one else but Suraj. Suraj
somehow manages to untie himself, wears the mask as without mask he
cannot fight as he has given promise to Adrak Chacha that Suraj will
not fight with anyone. Finally he gets the mask and starts beating all
the rowdies. Dayal manages to escape but Doga follows him. Dayal has
nowhere to go and no one to help except Sinha. He goes to his house.
He meets Abhyudaya and tells him everything. Abhyudaya now knows the
identity of Doga. He kills Dayal as now he has new plans on how to
tackle Doga. Dayal is of no use to him but Doga is. Sinha knows that
if Dayal gets killed by Doga then the anger inside him will get cooled
off, but if he couldn’t kill Halkan Singh the anger inside him will
keep burning and then it can be used for one’s own purpose and can be
given any direction. He knows Suraj is Doga but he never reveals that
to him and starts manipulating him for killing criminals.
Later Doga realizes what wrong he was doing during one of his
confrontation with people he had badly beaten one night before. Monica
is making a feature on the cruelties of Doga and takes Suraj to the
houses of the survivors of Doga. Suraj realizes his mistake when he
sees the pathetic conditions of families whose men he had beaten a day
before. He realizes that killing the criminal is not the solution,
killing the crime is. He goes to confront Sinha as now he understands
that Sinha has made a puppet out of him but Sinha already knows that
Suraj knows everything by his recent behavior and is fully prepared to
confront him. He tries to kill Suraj but Suraj escapes injured. Sinha
comes to meet him and offers him to side him one last time and reveals
to him that he is planning a game to kill him. A game that will do him
good no matter what choice Doga makes. He also tells that Doga can’t
remain indifferent to the game because he got to choose one thing from
his two options, since the good part of him won’t allow him to lose
both so he will have to make the choice to save only one.
Doga gets ready to save his options and finally ends up saving both of
them with the help of Cheetah and kills Sinha in a place full of
people who came there to cheer him up as he became the most popular
minister of the nation and was getting nominated for prime minister.

Doga again becomes evil in the eyes of people and people never know
who he actually is. He forgives Halkan Singh and becomes the saver of
society. The body of Halkan Singh is later found by Police.

3) Doga- The Movie >> STORY EVENT WISE

 There is some celebration going on in a house of a village. We
see happy faces. It’s the birthday of Suraj. It’s a traditional
village kind of ceremony. Suraj later never celebrates his
birthday because it is the same day his parents get killed.
 Attack of dacoits and burning of village. Finally they reach the
house of celebration and start destroying and killing people for
money. They burn the house, kill Suraj’s parent and take away
Suraj with him.
 They make Suraj their servant and treat him like a dog. They give
him food along with dogs and make him live with them. Suraj is
full of anger because he has to watch the killer of his parent
everyday in front of him and is unable do anything. Suraj remains
hungry all the time with the gang as they give him very little to
eat and that too with dogs. Dogs become his companions. He starts
loving dogs and treats them like his brother. He takes a dog with
him. Suraj develops a tendency to befriend dogs.
 One day he tries to kill Halkan Singh but fails and runs away. In
all of this and above he could never see the face of the Halkan
Singh except a significant laugh.
 He reaches city.
 He starts working in a restaurant. A man mistreats him and he
gets into fight with him. Another man saves him, which is Adrak
Chacha. He takes Suraj home.
 He gives him shelter in his home which also contains a gym. One
day Adrak Chacha finds Suraj doing exercises in night and he
makes him his disciple.
 Story moves forward. Suraj is elder now. Twenty years old. Monica
falls in love with him.
 Suraj is still getting those nightmares about the night.
 A local gang is messing with Adrak Chacha. Adrak chacha teaches
them lesson.
 One day they find Adrak chacha going to someplace and they beat
him badly.
 Suraj decides to take the revenge. But Adrak chacha stops him.
Chacha takes a promise from Suraj that Suraj his son will never
fight with anyone. Suraj promises him as he never refuses any
wish of Adrak Chacha.
 But after coming to home Suraj realizes his mistake and gets
frustrated. He see the same rowdies fighting with Adrak Chacha
again. He can’t fight but someone else can. He hears dog barking
outside and remembers his love for dog and how they have always
saved him in his worst conditions. He watches a couch in front of

him of purple color. He tears it off, wears it and hides his

face. He goes down and beats the hell out of those local goons.
 After he beats all of them. He laughs for the first time in the
movie. He has found the answer to all his tensions. He has to
relieve his anger on someone. He becomes doga.
 He permanently becomes Doga. He also finally realizes what power
he has.
 Adrak Chacha comes back and finds whole incidence but do not
blame Suraj as he trusts him that if he promised anything to him
then he will never do anything otherwise.
 Suraj becomes Doga in night. That’s when he gets introduced to
Inspector Cheetah.
 Cheetah vows to punish Doga and take him down.
 Monica makes Cheetah meet Suraj as the guy she wants to marry.
But both of them are unaware of realities of Doga.
 Adrak Chacha finally realizes that Suraj must do some job and
leave this body building because it aggravates his anger.
 Adrak Chacha had once done a favor to Halkan Singh. He hid him
from police without knowing his true identity but pitied him
thinking he is a good man with bad luck, in return Halkan
promises him one favor in life. Adrak Chacha decides to take help
of Halkan who is now living as Rameshwar Dayal, a politician.
 Suraj and Adrak meet him and when they come back, Suraj hears
Halkan laughing and identify him. We see the anger on his face
while going back.
 Halkan Singh is himself working for Abhyudaya Sinha. Lawyer
turned politician who is made whatever he is by Halkan Singh only
but who now has upper hand on Halkan Singh.
 Suraj starts working for Halkan Singh and waits for the right
moment to kill him.
 In the while, Suraj meets Abhyudaya Sinha and listens to his
idealistic talks. He starts admiring Sinha and the impact of his
philosophies falls on the character of Doga too. Now he is more
convinced of killing the criminals.
 Doga one day finally catches Halkan Singh in a fight and tries to
kill him. He tells him whole of his story that how much anger he
has inside him and before he kills him he wants Halkan to know
why he was getting killed. Doga reveals his identity as Suraj to
him. Halkan Singh unfortunately manages to escape and goes
directly to Abhyudaya Sinha.
 Abhyudaya Sinha listens to whole of his story and kills Halkan
Singh as now he know who Doga is and how to use him.
 Doga becomes depressed and loses interest in life. He feels like
his life has become meaningless after losing Halkan.
 Sinha knew that this would happen so he calls Suraj whom he knew
is Doga too. Suraj is unaware that Sinha knows about it.
 Suraj already admires Sinha and Sinha knows it. Sinha tells Suraj
his plans about eradicating crimes from the city and how
criminals must be finished. Suraj starts following him and Doga
becomes his pupil.

 Until one day when Suraj goes to meet Monica and she takes him to
a sight where Doga came one night before and killed some people
who committed some petite crimes.
 Suraj realizes his mistake and remembers the face of his parent
when they were killed.
 Suraj gives a serious thought and decides to change himself.
 Suraj then reveals his change of thoughts in front of Sinha and
he again tries to change his mind. Suraj refuses to get into his
talks.
 Suraj again goes on his hunting but this time he couldn’t kill
anyone. Sinha gets angry and tries to convince him again but this
time Suraj is very adamant on his thoughts.
 Suraj leaves Sinha but Sinha is furious and tries to kill Suraj.
Suraj do not raise his hand because he is under oath of Adrak
Chacha. He cannot fight until and unless he is Doga.
 Suraj enters hospital.
 Sinha comes to meet him and reveals a plan that he is going to
blow the whole (some famous) jail because it has all big
criminals in it. So now it is the battle between Suraj trying to
save all those criminals and Sinha trying to kill them all.
 Sinha also captures Monica and Adrak Chacha and gives Doga an
option to save just one of two, criminals or his loved ones.
 Suraj decides to save criminals while Cheetah saves Monica and
Adrak Chacha.
 Doga kills Sinha.
 Doga becomes crime fighter for good.
