Women image in intenational business

In this essay I’ll try to talk about the women image in international business. I chose to write about this
subject for the following reasons:

 In the first time I’m a girl and this subject is an personal interest;
 In the second time I think that subject worth it to be discuss;
 And in the third time in our days when in theory men and women are equal this in
organizations do not exist more women in a manager posture;

The citations on below are the base for my arguments:

"According to Nancy Adler (1994) female managers bring the needed collaborative and
participative skills to the workplace. Adler (1994) concludes that global multinational
companies benefit organizationally from women’s professional contributions in new ways –
both from women’s increased participation at all organizational levels and from their unique
ways, complementing those with men, of contributing to the organization. All the
respondentsstrongly agreed with these statements."

"The respondents thought that it is very important to give a woman’s perspective and experience to global
companies. They found that women bring very much needed diversity in the companies.
Respondents agreed with Adler’s (1994) statement saying that women in international
management bring different value from a different angle to the company because if to combine women’s and
men’s way of thinking the both parts contribute towhatever task."

"They claimed that often women can be more devoted to their work and most of companiescould benefit from
men and women managers since both genders have different approachesto business."

"Respondent 3 (RK) thought that the reason why women are not seen as a part of international business is due
to the fact that women have become independent rather recently. But she was sure that this will change very
soon with more experience, educationand independence."

"Respondent 4 (IS) claimed that the main reason for lack of women in international
management is the lack of information. She also suggested that more knowledge should beshared by
present and post-expatriates from different areas, e.g. including some sessions on this subject
in the international universities program. She had an opinion that in the long run the knowledge
gathered abroad will benefit also the home country when returning, therefore,beneficial to every
counterpart."
Opinions:

Based on previous arguments my personal opinion on this subject is the next:

I m agree with the first paragraph because also in my opinion a woman manager is a creative
manager, open-minded and very perceptive when we talking about new business aproaches.
Men are more hurry, traditionalists and they tend to listen just the similar opinion because
they are not open to new ideas.

My opinion with the second and the third parahraph is very similar with the opinion about the
first, but I want to add a personal idea. Women in a high position organisations do not means
just creativity and open-minded thoughts, no, means more. Because women are a little bit
more patient, a manager woman can let a better decision because she will analyze more
detailed the situation and her options.

I think about the person who told his/her opinion in the fourth paragraph that is a little old
because that person do not belive in women independence.

The last parahraph talk about women ara e source of knowladge in a international business
and I cand say I agree with that person but I don’t want to exaggerate.

After I commented the previous paragraph I want to say my ground opinion about this
subject. We are in a very evoluted stage of humanity but when we try to talk in business about
women with high hierarchy position, the subject is limited because in companies do not exist
so much women with a high position and this is not a very positive thing in a world when we
try to adapt with other cultures because "The men are made to rule" it is a stereotype and we
can’t adopot with another culture characteristics if we can not accept to be equal with
someone from the same culture. Also we do not to exagerate about this subject of course if
not all men aren’t not good leaders this not means all women are good managers.
