How Sunny Died

This was written by @K0799 on scratch.

Long ago……many years ago. There was a murder at the mysterious mansion. Many people
have had deaths in this mansion………the only people who can see Sunny and many of the
previous ghosts are the mini minions and their leaders…..One day Foxie entered the Mansion
and saw not one but many ghosts but she found Sunny’s ghost spirit. Sunny told her that “Foxie
you and your crew have the power to see us ghosts spirits as no one else can……..” and from
hearing that Foxie was bound to find out what happened to her and who murdered her she picked
2 co-leaders and then mini minions…….Each leader had their own pack of minions. And they
were off to find out what happened to Sunny and who dared to kill her everyone was must
certainly very wanted to find out the true murder. Since there were many minions on this crew to
solve this tragic mystery they split up into groups of three. And as they walked together
fearless, they stumbled upon the mansion that held all pf the many spirts that died. Foxie and
her team told everyone to look for clues and see what useful into unrevealing what this murders
name is. After some time later a mini minion found three silver keys with each of the leaders
and co-leaders name on it, “ It says: Foxie, Jade and Amy.. “. Everyone wondered what these
keys could lead to or mean or even who put them there. A minion shouted “Maybe Sunny the
ghost put them down here so we can find out who the murder is “. After one of the minions said
that it sparked an idea. And then Foxie said “We have to find the lock picks or doors to find
where each key leads too”. As the day got darker, it was quite hard to see. But then 2 minions
found a secret staircase and told the leaders and other minions. After they got to the top of the
stairs they saw a locked door with a note. Jade picked it up and readied “Match each door with
each silver key there are more clues hidden around this secret mansion”. After that Foxie kept
all the keys with her and then told Amy’s group to go looks for the other two doors as they do
not know that the doors are hidden and secret places which you need to solve clues to get too.
Foxie’s and Jade’s group were told to keep on looking for clues to find out this murder mystery.
Time flew by past and nothing very suspicious was found at the moment except footsteps and
fingerprints. Foxie tried to examine them to see whose it was. After a lot of time later. One of
Foxie’s minions found a clue that told were Jade’s door was. Foxie said “Go on read it”. And so
the minion read it “If you want to find this green door find me an Emerald so shiny and bold,
place it on podium on your left and soon seek a lever too find what you need”. After that Foxie
told all three groups to look for any kind of shiny not dull Emerald. Before they left to find the
Emerald one of the minions from Amy’s group said “I think the Emerald is for Jade’s door
because Jade is referenced as green and Emerald is green”. Everyone agreed about that as well
and tried to look for all the spots where an Emerald could be hidden. After 3 hours of searching
Jade found the Emerald and showed it too everyone before putting it on the podium. After
showing everyone she put it on the podium and a lever came out of it. Jade said “One of my
minions should pull the lever”. So one of them did. After pulling the lever an another staircase
came out and everyone started to walk down those stairs till they saw a green door and put

3
Jade’s key in, they all went inside the room to see if there was a clue to where Foxie’s door was
hidden and what was inside. One of Amy’s campers found a note of how to find Foxie’s door. It
says “To find this last door to know how you can save me find the book with the note and stick
it onto the main entrance door”. Foxie told everyone to head to the library. Everyone ran to the
library to find the book with the note. Foxie told everyone “Look for interesting and mysterious
books, it might have the note in it”, everyone did. Every group went page by page, book to
book……finally they got to the last book and then Foxie went page by, page till she saw the
glossary with the hidden note which said “You found the note now stick it onto the front door and
you shall seek what you were looking for”. Everyone ran to the front door again and stuck it onto
the door the lever appeared right behind them with of course another staircase. Foxie now said
“We are very close now after we walk these stairs we know what we have to do to bring Sunny
back alive”. They reached to the end of the staircase to see a door with Foxie’s name on it.
Foxie slipped the key throw the key hole and the door opened and their lay another note which
says who murdered Sunny and how to bring her back alive. It says “The people who have
murdered me was your cabin enemies…….to bring me back alive you have to win November
SWC and take home the gold and I will return, I have faith in you go Mystery”. Foxie finally said
“Now we know what we have to do to bring Sunny alive”……after a few seconds of silence
everyone said “WIN November SWC”.

Murder's POV

Also written by @K0799 (on scratch

Long ago many…….years ago way past before. As you know who killed Sunny you never really
saw how the murder did it…..The enemies of Mystery. Came into the house as they did not win
first place but as horror did. They were furious and wanted to get revenge on the
host…….Sunny. The whole cabin lured Sunny in. But she did not know why…..the enemies
showed themselves and got rid of Sunny from a poisonous drink……PAUSE. You might be
wondering how Sunny drinked it when she was in one of the scariest mansions ever….well let
me tell you. Enemies said to Sunny “DRINK this now and except your fate”. Sunny was shocked
and said “What did I even do to you?! Why are you making me drink this green drink?……The
leader of that cabin came and said “You know what you did…..you put us in third place while
horror won we should have won and it’s your fault you now deserve what you did to us”. Sunny
was really calm and said “I did what I had to do, but to make this easier for you…..” Sunny
drank the potion. The enemies got there way. Is this the end? No because there was another
cabin who is all in favor of Mystery of course they would find out who killed Sunny. But the
cabin who poisoned will not let them get away. So they told Sunny the haunted ghost of this
mansion to… “I know that someone will try and find out what happened to you so…..I want you
to give them hard clues so they never find out what they have to do to save you. If you don’t
keep your word you’re going to not say anything at all not even a word. Or I can finish them up
and they will end exactly like you Sunny, so it’s your choice………I will always be watching”.
Few months later Foxie came but “the enemies” were always watching every move that they
took………they were mad since they could unravel all the clues that Sunny put them so the
whole cabin got mad at Sunny and took her privileges for speaking “You may not speak
anymore since you made all of these clues so easy to solve………. you had your chance but
you failed”. The enemies of the cabin still seek as they hope Foxy and her team don’t find out
the key. So they sabotaged “I will move things around so it will be really hard and have no clue
but to give up”. So they waited lurking around but as you may know Mystery cabin never gave
up! Even if it took them a whole month just to find out who did this to sunny who yea they will
find out. After some time later Foxie and her teams found 2 doors. And the enemies were
furious, a lot. They raged and the leader said “AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HOW COULD THEY
BE ALREADY ON THE LAST DOOR”. So then the enemy cabin went to go find that ghost
(Sunny) and lock her up because she made it so easy for them even though it wasn’t so easy.
The cabin got sunny and put her in the cell in the mansion. The leader said “How could you
make it so easy for them so they now how to save you?!” Sunny laughed a little and said “Well
to be honest I did make it hard like you asked but there to smart and I can’t control how smart
they can be and not sure if you noticed but they already unlocked the last door and know what
they have to do to escape. Also since I am a ghost and you’re not I am just going to escape
hahahaha. “BYE”

Us exploring the manor? idk xD

Made by @26friedland (on scratch)

The three campers, Em, Mari, and Lily, looked up at the tall manor. Was this really where they
were supposed to be? Had they taken a wrong turn somewhere? The manor looked more
ominous than a camp was supposed to look, with its looming height and cracked dark windows.
It was evening, and the sky was darkening. The sun’s last rays illuminated the stone path to the
manor, and the three campers cautiously walked forward, one step at a time. When they
reached the huge door, Em bravely picked up the door knocker, which was shaped like a
magnifying glass. It made a loud clunking sound, and soon someone came to the door. “Hey!”
she said. “I’m Foxie. Come on into the Mystery Manor, and please explore!” She gestured to the
narrow corridor and seemed to vanish away as the campers walked inside.
It was dark inside, with only torches mounted on the crumbling walls to light the way through the
corridor. Suddenly, Jade popped out from somewhere the campers couldn’t see. “Want this?”
she asked, handing Lily a flashlight.
“Yeah, thanks,” said Lily, but Jade was already gone.
Clicking on the flashlight, Lily waved it around, lighting up the stone floor with a flickering beam
of yellow-white light. The campers continued along the hallway, until the flashlight revealed a
wooden door that had been painted ice blue once upon a time, but now was covered in a thick
layer of dust. The campers looked at each other, and then Mari carefully opened the door.
“This is the library, your writing sanctuary,” said Amy, approaching the campers. She too,
disappeared.
The campers looked around. Tall bookshelves lined the walls, stuffed tightly with thousands of
books, of all different sizes. Some were leather-bound, others newer-looking. Bookmarks stuck
out of a few volumes. The ceiling was high and domelike, and Lily pointed the flashlight upward.
The campers could see that it was painted with intricate patterns. “Wow,” said Mari. The word
echoed throughout the library. Wow, wow, wow, wow…
There were puffy, navy blue armchairs clumped together around the library room, each with their
own obsidian table. A lamp sat on each table, giving a pale blue glow to the room.
Em saw a book that looked interesting. It was very big, bound in green leather, with golden
words embossed on the spine, in what seemed to be a different language. Runes, maybe. She
pulled on it, wanting to read it, but instead, there was a loud creaking sound, and the entire
bookshelf swung open, revealing a secret tunnel. “Whoa,” Em breathed. “Hey guys, look at this!”
Mari and Lily quickly came over, and they all crept through the tunnel on their hands and knees.
The tunnel was dark, damp, and spooky. Spiderwebs stretched across corners. At last, the
three campers emerged from the tunnel. They seemed to be in a very low closet. Through a
wall, heat warmed their faces, and the smell of smoke made them realize that they were in a
spot behind a fireplace. Lily led them, with the flashlight, around the side of where the fire was,
out into the open room.
It had three navy blue couches, which sat around a large black table. There was a large jar full

6
of pencils on the table.
“Welcome,” said a voice. The campers jumped, but turning around, they noticed it was only
Foxie.
“This is your Mystery Hangout,” Foxie continued. “You can chat here, and a sci-fi alien will glitch
into existence every now and then. Now, I’ll leave you free to continue exploring.” She seemed
to fade into the wall.
“Hey, look at this,” said Mari. She pointed to a winding staircase, carpeted in gray-blue. “Do you
want to go up?”
“Sure,” said Em.
“Yeah, let’s go,” agreed Lily. She pointed the flashlight up the stairs, and they began climbing.
There were a lot of stairs, and the campers got a little tired, but eventually they made it up to the
top. The room they were in had a low ceiling and lots of boxes and suitcases. The campers
figured they were in an attic of some sort. There were two windows, but spiderwebs of cracks let
freezing wind blow inside. The campers shivered.
Lily opened a box. A figure of a redheaded girl with piercing green eyes walked out. She was
waving a shiny silver sword. “What!” the campers shouted.
“It’s okay,” said Amy, emerging from the ceiling somehow. “These are just inspiration boxes.
Inside you’ll find a character, or plot, or setting, or something. They can’t hurt you,” she added
when the girl waved her sword fiercely at Em, who jumped backward.
“Can they-” Mari started to ask, but Amy had disappeared.
“Hey look, it’s a closet,” said Em. She opened the door. It was a large closet, stuffed with
ancient-looking top hats and fancy lace dresses, all coated in dust. Lily was opening another
box, but Mari followed Em into the closet. They pushed through the rows of hanging clothes,
avoided pointy high heels, and found themselves at the back of the closet.
A small ocean emerged from Lily’s box. She curiously reached out to touch it, but couldn’t feel
anything. Gradually, an island formed on the ocean, with palm trees and rivers and coconuts.
“Look! We found a ladder!” Mari’s muffled voice came from the closet. Lily hurried into the closet
and found the other two campers. There was certainly a ladder.
“Should we climb it?” Em asked.
“Yeah, let’s do it,” said Mari.
“Yeah!” Lily cheered.
The campers, one after another, clambered up the wobbly rungs of the ladder, until at last, they
felt a cold breeze.
They were on the roof of the mansion.
They sat down, their legs dangling off the edge. The sky was pitch black now, but twinkling
stars dotted the darkness, and the moon glowed. Cool wind blew across their faces.
“Campers,” said a voice. It was Jade this time. She appeared sitting next to Em. “You have
discovered my secret place. In return, you will become the first ones to join my group. Goodbye
and good luck.”
Jade saluted, raised her arms above her head, and shot off into the night.

What the murder is supposed to look like xD

This is written from @-dustylust- on scratch

Lily, Lori and Mari we’re sitting comfortably in seperate blue arm chairs. Each reading an
incredibly large book. Silence. Suddenly Lily burst out laughing, she had obviously read a funny
part in her book,
“Oh no, what happened this time?” Mari said smiling.
“He…he…. hahhahahahaha…….he stepped in a ………. hahaha… he stepped in a pie!” Lily
laughed, almost falling of her chair.
Mari giggled. Soon it was complete silence again. All the girls were engaged in their books.

There was a freak as the front door opened. A tall black hooded figure stepped inside. He held a
knife at hand, dripping with bright red blood. None of the girls noticed as the figure came in. His
long black boot clanked as he walked forward. Clank clank clank clank…

He walked up to the girls, all of them oblivious to the figure standing behind them. He lifted the
knife high above Lori’s head. 3…….2….
“Hey guys, do you think I should order a pizza?” Lori suddenly questioned. The figure froze! Lily
and Mari lifter the heads to respond, that’s when they all noticed to black figure behind them,
“ Why Hello Mr, what can we help you with today?” Mari said politely.
She paused and looked over at the open door, then his bloody knife, the door, the knife, door,
knife, door, knife.
Her face went pale.
“You’re not here for our help are you!” Mari quivered
“Run! He is a murderer!!!l Lily screamed!
The all ran fast. Only just escaping him.

How the murder took place

This was written by @26friedland (on scratch)

The leaders of Scratch Writing Camp sat around the long table, chatting, laughing, and planning
for next session. At each place setting, on top of the pristine white tablecloth sat steaming
bowls and plates, with shiny silverware resting on silvery silk napkins. Glinting crystal glasses
and golden platters of food were spread out on the table. The leaders were happy, smiling,
talking animatedly, and jotting things down.
They were so naive.
Most of all, the host, Sunny.
Sunny.
The murderer grinned evilly, their black gloves rubbing together with anticipation. The murder
had been planned perfectly.
Right as the grandfather clock struck eight, the murderer pulled on the hidden mechanism built
specially into the underside of the table.
Gears turned. Pulleys pulled. Catapults catapulted.
And with a metallic shing, a large, sharp knife, dripping with red, dropped from the ceiling,
hanging from a thin rope.
The leaders screamed, gasped, and leaped out of their seats. They turned to each other with
their frightened, wide eyes. The murderer was so excited they thought they would burst out
laughing. But they bit their lip, hiding their glee, and with a deep breath, refocused to continue
with the plan.
In reality, the knife was just a distraction. Something to keep the leaders’ curious eyes off of
what was really important.
While the leaders talked anxiously about the knife, pointing and shrugging and shuddering, the
murderer stuffed a silky silver napkin into Sunny’s open, gasping mouth. Gagging her.
Nobody noticed as the murderer quickly dragged the frantic Sunny into a spacious closet and
silently closed the door.
Yanking the gag out of the host’s mouth, the murderer faced Sunny.
This was it. The moment of revenge.
The murderer’s cabin hadn’t won last session. It had to be the host’s fault.
Time to turn the tables.
Taking out a small vial of gurgling, deep green liquid, the murderer told Sunny, “Drink this. And
accept your fate.”
Sunny was shocked. She opened her mouth. She was shivering with fright. “What did I even do
to you?” Her voice shook, like a dangling chandelier which could break at any moment. “Why do
I need to drink this– this green drink?”
“You put us in third place. We should have won. It’s your fault. You deserve this, after what you
did to us.” The murderer’s voice was strong. They had been waiting since forever to say that.
Sunny, inexplicably, seemed to calm down. Her breathing slowed, and she even gave a hint of a

9
smile.
She put out her hand.
The murderer passed it to her, placing the glass vial into Sunny’s small, cold hand.
Sunny took the vial, unscrewing the cap. She paused for a second, and then, gritting her teeth,
downed the poison in one gulp.
And she faded away, silently, slowly.
Alone.
A triumphant smile crawled up the murderer’s face, a chill of pleasure dashing up their spine.
It was done.
The murderer walked, innocently, back to the meeting, and joined in with the other leaders,
talking cheerfully about daily activities over the pristine white tablecloth as if nothing had ever
happened.
Little did the murderer know, Sunny had sacrificed herself for the good of Mystery. She knew
that if she didn’t, Mystery would be attacked over and over again. So she gave herself.
But not entirely.
Because she was still Sunny, though not in flesh and bone.
She had become a ghost.

Welp, that's it, hope you guys like it, and if i should change/add/get rid of something to fit the
prompt more please let me know <3

Sunny's expierence in mystery manor

Written by @26friedland (on scratch)

Sunny’s tall black boots thudded against the stone path up to the Manor. She was visiting all the
cabins before the next session, but this one was by far the creepiest. The Mystery Manor
loomed tall and ominous against the oddly dim afternoon sky. Sunny wrapped her jacket tighter
around her shoulders, braced herself, and stepped forward, knocking boldly on the huge wooden
door.
Foxie answered her happily and left her to explore on her own.
But Sunny knew something wasn’t right.
The air was heavy. Tension blanketed the mansion. What was off?
She was determined to find out.
Sunny knew the Manor. Knew it well. As the Host of Scratch Writing Camp, she had examined
the cabins front to back to check to make sure they all had the correct equipment. How could it
be any different today? But a feeling, deep within Sunny’s bones, squirmed.
She turned right, going into the living room. Sunny noticed a familiar-looking Oriental carpet, a
red one with ornate, looping floral patterns around the edges. She dug her fingers under the edge
of the carpet and peeled it up carefully, rolling it upward. Beneath, as Sunny had expected, was
a square trapdoor, camouflaged against the hardwood floor. She pulled up the trapdoor, revealing
a dark tunnel that she crawled through.
Sunny emerged from the tunnel in a dark, dank, creepy basement. A strange humming noise
emanated from a huge gray machine in the corner. The ceiling was low, and she had to crouch
slightly in order to not bump her head. She could barely make out the peeling, old-fashioned
wallpaper that smothered the collapsing walls. Sunny ran her hand over the wallpaper, thinking.
Suddenly, there was a click, and a hidden cabinet swung open.
It was like there was a small wooden box in the wall, just waiting for someone to discover it.
Inside, there was a small glass vial of green liquid. It seemed to salivate when Sunny’s
trembling fingers reached close to it. She was going to pick it up and throw it away, could just
imagine the satisfying shatter of the glass, the relief of it being gone.
But then she pictured the oozing green liquid, spreading across the pavement, creeping
stealthily toward some unsuspecting victim…
She brought her hand away. She couldn’t do it. Her heart beat fast, thudding in her ribs. She
turned and ran as fast as she could out of the Manor. Who was going to use that awful stuff?
Why was it in the basement? She didn’t want to go back to the Mystery Manor ever again.
But then she remembered she had a meeting later that evening with the other leaders to discuss
the next session.
It was at the Manor.
What was Sunny going to do?
She’d have to go. She’d keep her guard up, be careful, be on high alert. Her friends, the other
leaders, would protect her.

11
She would be brave.
Sunny turned, squared her shoulders, and walked away.

How the family took Sunnys murder

Written by @26friedland (on scratch)

The scroll arrived at the door, unannounced, and a feeling of raw, black dread rushed up
Samantha’s spine.
“Get it, honey?” her mom called. “I’m making dinner.”
“Okay!” Samantha answered over her shoulder, pulling open the flimsy screen door with a
thwack, and staring at the innocent-seeming scroll rolled up ominously on the cheery welcome
mat in front of her house. Well, it wasn’t hers, exactly. It was all of the Renbayles’. Her mom,
Bella. Her dad, Caleb. And her beloved older sister, Sunny. But Sunny was off at camp for her
school break, and Samantha couldn’t deny that she missed her. A tight knot of emotions tugged
from inside her, but Samantha had to push them aside and ignore her pounding heart to pick up
the scroll, which was labeled in fancy, looping cursive, Regarding Sunny.
Samantha’s pale, trembling hand could barely unroll the tightly tied scroll, and her worried eyes
skimmed quickly over the short, yet devastating note. She shook her head, making her short
black hair shake across her face, then reread it, hoping her eyes were playing tricks on her.
They weren’t.
It was real.
And yet Samantha read it again.
To Whom This May Concern: Sunny Renbayle’s body has been found in a closet in the Mystery
Manor, a cabin at Scratch Writing Camp. We, the camp’s team, are deeply sorry for your loss
and wish you the best. Yours, the Leaders of Scratch Writing Camp.
Sharp, angry tears pricked the corners of Samantha’s large eyes, threatening to drown her with
their spiked pools of grief. She had always looked up to Sunny, who had shown her how to do
everything. They were a pair. A dynamic duo. Sunny and Samantha. Samantha and Sunny.
They were never without each other.
This couldn’t be happening. Samantha sobbed and let the great tsunami of tears flow forth.
“Sami, what’s up?” Dad’s casual voice carried over.
She just cried louder, with a few screams tossed in. Her parents rushed over, concern etched
between their brows. Samantha shoved the tear-soaked scroll at them, and with a quick scan-
through, their eyes brimmed with unstoppable tears that poured forward. They clutched each
other, shaking, grieving, crying, until there were no more tears left to give.
Pure, raw feelings were exposed.
Samantha’s grief and sadness was larger than she’d ever imagined. But the emotions buried
deep inside her were more than that. There were threads of anger woven in. Injustice. That she
didn’t get to see her sister one more time, just once more, before she died. That Sunny’s last
breaths were taken far away from her loving family.
Her mom sucked in a shuddering sob, and her skinny shoulder shook. The crease between her
eyebrows seemed to have deepened from a valley to a canyon. “We should call Emmie,” she

13
said quietly. Her voice was rubbed raw and scratchy, and her jaw trembled.
“Good idea,” Her dad agreed reluctantly, his voice low and serious. They dialed Sunny’s best
friend’s number and awkwardly broke the news.
More crying erupted from over the phone.
The truth was, Sunny as someone everybody was going to miss. Her kindness, her quirks, her
selflessness, her sense of humor. How she loved to say old quotes. Her flashing eyes. Her
dreamy expression as she talked about stories of galaxies near and far.
Nobody knew Sunny’s darkest dreams and deepest desires better than Samantha. Every night,
as they went to bed, the sisters would tell each other everything about that day.
Everything.
And now it was nothing.
Nothing.
Never would be anything again.
Samantha let out a final, quaking sob, and a last tear dripped solemnly down her crusted cheek,
tracking its way down her grief-stricken face.
But she couldn’t let grief overtake her. She had to do what Sunny would have wanted.
Had to get revenge on her sister’s murderer.

About the founders of mystery manor

WE ACTUALLY HAVE SOMETHING THAT IS WRITTEN BY ME FOR ONCE XD

There once was a meeting. The meeting of 4. Jade, Foxie, Amy, and Sunny. They all loved
mysteries and writing. They spoke to themselves “I wish we could create a camp for writing, but
based off of mysteries.' foxie said. Amy, Jade, and Sunny agreed…but on one condition. ”We
should be able to lead certain campers. Foxie and Sunny cant lead them all“ Said Amy. ”I
agree," said Jade. And they decided to create Mystery Manor. The manor quickly grew across
news and papers across the world. It started to grow in popularity!

Foxie was in charge. She was very artistic and loves to read, and write, and LOVES Drama.
She likes cheese and random movies to watch, so her group was mainly people who liked
similar things to her.

Jade was second. She was related to Athena, is in Ravenclaw, and LOVES TO READ. She
loves writing, programming, and rock-climbing as well. She is very crazy and wild (IN a good
way) SHE LOVES TO FANGIRL! Her campers are extremely fast, and very good detectives,
and AmAZING Writers.

Amy LOVES Hamilton, Karate Football, Musicals, Flowers, Is OBSESSED With Halsey, Celtic
F.C., baking, and writing. She likes dancing, but ADORES WRITING! She is suspicioned for
killing sunny!

Altogether, the founders thought would make an awesome camp! They joined the other SWC
committee and built a cabin that cost 200k words. The founders named it the MYSTERY
MANOR, and have paid their bills! So far, it has been very successful but can only afford to pay
2 more days left. Then the camp will be gone forever!
