The Shetland Islands

The Shetland Islands are located in the Norhern Isles of Scotland, situated in the
Nothern Atlantic between Great Britain and Norway. They ocupate about 80km to the
northeast of Orkney, 170 km from the Scottish mainland and 300 km west of Norway.
In Shetland there are little to no trees because of the presence of sheep who stop
natural regeneration. In Shetland there are many attractions such as the Shetland
Museum and Archives or the Mousa Iron Age Broch
