MECHANICAL Technician. Capacity=10.5MW and Solar power plant= 1.0MW

Job responsibility

  Responsible for the Operation and day-to-day maintenance of power plant.

 Responsible for the Electrical Equipment Operation and Maintenance
 Continuous Improvement process
 Power distribution as per requirement
 Shift handling
 Member of the maintenance team during Major Overhauling of Wartsila Engine such
as Cylinder head, injector and power plant auxiliaries.
 Trouble shooting and failure analysis of Engine Operation as well as Maintenance.
 Plan the work area & make arrangement of PTW (Permit to work) system in order to
maintain the Zero accident system.
 Maintain 5S.
 Active member in OHSAS to achieve zero injury.
Job Experience
 Operation & Maintenance of Wartsila 9R32LN, 9L26 engines
 Operation of Generators in Solo and Grid parallel mode (up to 110kv)
 Calibration of instrumentation components
 Operation & Maintenance of Battery chargers
 Making desired modifications in the system
 Handling the workshop activities, job planning with teammates, and trainees.
 Hands on experience in auxiliary systems such as Lube / Fuel oil separators, Air
Compressors, Motor and Pumps overhauls
 Breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance planning and executing the
troubleshooting & attending problems of auxiliaries and engine
 Maintaining the Air handling units , Ventilation systems and Chiller machine.
 Having Experience in 1.0MW solar power plant and Solar Water heater for the
Engine HT water system.
