The Pride of London

I get Goosebumps every single time the song lives in my nerves, the earworm in my head. The
champions league anthem lyrics is what defines my favorite football, Chelsea F.C.As the song goes by
“The master, the best teams, the champions, the main event” imagine your team winning that main
event well the feeling is spectacular and indescribable. When a part of you just can’t finish the race but
you always believe that one day it will that what happened when my family won the UEFA Champions
League.

When Drogba scored that equalizer he brought back hope into the stadium he made us have faith again
causing the earthquake in the stadium and all you can hear is just excitement and joy; he made all of us
beamish once again. True heroes always give a 100% even if you where the underdog or you are in the
88th minute and you’re losing. Some say we got jammy but I deny that because I saw passion and desire
in those players they fought for it because that is what Chelsea is all about.

Being the dark house is not easy because everyone will doubt you and try to make give up and not only
we were the dark horse but we were playing the rivals in their own backyard. Having that advantage can
play with the other team mentality but Chelsea was fearless and was up for the challenge. As a fan
people where telling me that I was wasting my time supporting Chelsea by flying to the final, but in
reality I was doing my part.it is like when your sister is getting married wouldn’t you go to the marriage
to support her because she is part of your family; well it was the same for me I went to the stadium to
support my club, my family.

Before the penalties the stadium was shivering as we were all nervous when the last shot was about to
be taken some of us couldn’t even watch but then it happened and the mission was accomplished. Later
on I found myself swimming through the tears of joy of the Chelsea fans we couldn’t believe it .It was
like we were living inside a fantasy story and then the lyrics kept repeating in my mind “The master, the
best teams, the champions, the main event” .

Chelsea wining the champions league was apparently impossible but they took out the im and made it
possible because if you have the courage and passion you can achieve anything in life. When you keep
falling off the edge it only makes you stronger. When you accomplish great things in life you build up a
good reputation for yourself and that is what Chelsea did. Since Chelsea won I dream of anything
because they thought me that anything is possible.
