This letter is in response to your request for information regarding Dow supplied product(s) for
food contact applications. The product(s) include:

- D9808.15 Developmental Olefin Block Copolymer

The information which has been requested includes:

 Substances with Specific Migration Limitations (SML)

This information is considered Dow Proprietary Information and is provided at your request for
the sole purpose of being used for an assessment of the compliance with the imposed SML
restrictions in Europe.

Since the specific information requested is proprietary to Dow, you must treat this information as
proprietary and not disclose it to any third party without Dow’s prior written consent. This
information is only to be used in connection with your regulatory assessment relating to Dow
products. You are to take all necessary steps to protect Dow’s proprietary information, including
disclosing it only to employees who require it and requiring such persons to maintain the
information in confidence.
The following Dow proprietary substance(s) currently used in the above listed polymer(s)
has/have specific migration limitations (SML) imposed in Europe as follows:

Imposed SML for zinc: 5 mg/kg

Certain test methods are Dow-Internal test methods used in measurement of quality control of
Dow processes. Thus, the data obtained through such methods are relevant only with respect to
other data obtained or tested under said methods. Dow makes no warranty, express or implied,
as to said test methods or data, and customers are advised to confirm independently all products’
suitability as to commercial use.

It is possible that Dow may change this formulation at a later date. Should Dow decide to do so,
any notice will be provided in accordance with the Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics Global
Notification of Change Policy. A copy of this policy is attached.

Global Notification of Change Policy

Seller will notify Buyer of significant Product changes regarding:

b) Composition of the Product

c) Polymer Known Properties of the Product
due to Changes in the Seller’s
i) manufacturing process; or
ii) source of raw material;
c) Regulatory Status

As a general rule, Seller will not inform Buyer if Seller substitutes manufacturing
locations, as long as the substitution does not affect the final composition or
polymer known properties of the Product.
