THE-FRUIT-STAND Aircraft Library for X-Plane....

Assembled by roymar and Jiggyb2

This library will fill the urgent need for populating X-Plane airports with current
Static aircraft and I am very pleased to now have the tremendous collaboration of
Jiggyb2, who has also contributed many uploads to X-Plane.org.

THE-FRUIT-STAND.com was one of the best websites, run by volunteers, producing superb

models (TFS) and liveries for FS9 and FSX. Unfortunately it closed down a few years
ago. The library title is self explanatory as it dedicates the contents to TFS models
only.
All aircraft are converted from FSX and FS9 freeware and all credit goes to the
original modelers and repaint artists who are listed below. I would like to thank all
who have answered my emails requesting permission to use your material, and have been
gratified with your responses encouraging the formation of this library.
One proviso is that the library must remain intact. Scenery developers can include any
of the static aircraft in their uploaded scenery PROVIDED the aircraft are linked to
the library. Under no circumstance may they extract individual aircraft or liveries
without running the risk of copyright consequences, scenery withdrawal, etc, as all
permissions are granted only to the library. In addition, such extraction will do your
scenery users a disservice since their installed scenery will not get the various
updates that will be made to the library.
In turn, we will continue to update the library with the remaining TFS models e.g.
B773, A300, A340, etc and any texture additions or revisions that may arise. Any
texture revision to the existing library will be seamless i.e. programmed data will
remain intact even if the texture is updated e.g.the PW engines listed below, thereby
eliminating the dreaded "your scenery may not look correct" message which would
otherwise occur.
More on library additions later, but first the credits as they appear in the original
freeware texture uploads, some of which are more than 5 years old, and modified to
include all the painters:

Thank you for supporting X-Plane. If I have missed your name from this list, apologies
and please email me and it will be added on the next update.

INSTALLATION:
Unzip the rar file and place the "THE-FRUIT-STAND Aircraft Library folder directly into
the "Custom Scenery" folder.
You are now ready to use!
Also in your unzipped folder you will find an Excel file named, naturally,THE-FRUIT-
STAND Aircraft Library.xlsx, which is a complete listing and cross reference to all the
aircraft and airlines. Place this file in any convenient place and create a short-cut
to your desktop as you will be referring to it frequently.
(a xls version is also there just in case folks with an older (2007) version of Excel
cannot read the xlsx version. Unless I see comments to the contrary future updates will
attach the xlsx version only.)
The "system" used is straight forward, the Library sub-folders are labelled by airlines
e.g. Air Canada while the obj file, which is what you will read in the scenery editor
programs, are labelled by the model followed by the 3 digit ailine code e.g. B772_ACA.
Sample Pics are attached.

NOTES:

The library will be updated from time to time with aircraft, texture, credits additions
and/or corrections.
Particular work required"
1)New obj files for A332 and A333 aircraft with PW engines. Keen observers will notice
"ignited jet fuel gas"!! at the rear of these engines (texture background color) as the
obj file used is derived from the GE engine model. You may not have noticed if I had
not drawn attention to it, so for now, just consider the captain has started the
engines!

2)Obj files for TFS models B773, A300, A340xxx series,Dash 8-100/200-300-400,Saab 340.

If there are some gurus out there who can or already have made any of the above obj's,
I would really appreciate you PM them to me as this will save loads of time. I believe
the three completed models include more than 90 percent of all airlines currently
flying these aircraft, but if you are aware of TFS textures for any missing airlines,
please PM me.

Guess that's all for now..enjoy the new look at your airports!

Version 3.0
Nearly 100 added new and updated textures. Details of changes shown on the xlsx
spreadsheet.

******
Version 2.2
Dash8 100/200,300,400 Saab340 Saab2000 Regional aircraft added to library.
Vietnam A332 added which should be used in future instead of the A333 as Vietnam do not
fly this marque.
Just delete Version 2.0 folder and xlxs catalog entirely and replace with the Version
2.2, and you are back in business!

******
Version 2.0
The library has been completely rescripted to enable the aircraft to be displayed in
both the WED and Overlay programs.
As such it is NOT backward compatible with version 1.00 and update 1.1 which must be
deleted from from your custom scenery folder. Only Version 2.0 will be supported from
here-on.
The A332 RR aircraft no longer have "see through" engines!
Some additional liveries have been added.

******
Update 1.1
Corrected all A332 and A333 aircraft with PW engines (no more "ignited jet fuel
gas"!!).
B773 (aka B77W) now added with 39 liveries.
