Snowflake Symmetry
10 Points

1. Cut a snowflake out of a folded piece of unlined white paper. Choose any
regular polygon as your initial shape. The more intricate your design the
better! Your design may be delicate so paste the snowflake to a piece of
colored construction paper. A few extra bonus points (3) may be awarded
based on creativity, so show me you are putting effort into this project!
(Hint: The more times you fold the paper, the more complex your design.)

2. On your paper you must also complete the following:

a. Tell how many lines of symmetry your snowflake has and draw them
accordingly on your snowflake. Dotted lines please!
b. Tell whether or not your snowflake has rotational symmetry. If it has
rotational symmetry, give the angle and order of rotational symmetry?

3. Put your name on the back of your paper. Be sure to label your answers so I
know which questions you are answering.
