Article 11: Self-Introduction

My Autobiography

Today I will introduce myself. I am Kim Dong Hyuk and my English name is Terry.
I was born in a province called Anyang. And now I live in Byeollae. I’m 14 years old and my birthday is
on February 16th. I’m now in 2nd-grade at Byeol-Ka-Ram middle school. My height is around 170 cm. I’m
chubby.

I belong to a nuclear family. My family is composed of my father, my mom and my younger

brother. My father’s job is a repairman. He repairs photocopiers. My mother is a housewife. She does
most of the household chores and she takes care of us. My younger brother is in 1 st-grade middle school.
He likes playing games and he wants to be a professional gamer in the future.

My hobbies are assembling Gundam robots, playing with our pets, playing games and watching
Japanese animations. I have assembled Gundam robots since I was five. Now I have a collection of them.
My family likes playing with our pets. We have a dog named Mungchi and two cats named Miru and
Seonli. They are adorable and funny. They make us all happy. When I’m bored, I get my phone and play
some games. I usually play 7knights. It is fun. I’m a very busy person but whenever I have time, I watch
Japanese animations. My favorite is Seven Great Sins. It is interesting and exciting.

My dream is to be a pro modeler. A Gundam robot comes in different sizes so it takes time to
complete it, depends on its size. It is a big accomplishment to me when I successfully assemble a robot.

My motto in life is “Money is not the only answer, but it makes a difference”. Barack Obama said
this on his speech when he was the president of America. I chose this as my motto because I want to live
a rich life, but not being obsessed with money.
