Meridian charges (which include the price of the electricity you consume and the retail services we provide you) and the Electricity Authority (EA) Levy charge (the EA is the government organisation
responsible for regulating New Zealand’s electricity industry). All rates are shown as GST inclusive and before any prompt payment discount applies. Due to the effect of rounding, the Meridian and
Network charges on your bill may not add up to exactly the same amount as the total electricity rate. Total charges are calculated on the total electricity rate applicable to you.
