2nd january

went to take laptop from Aslam Sahb as he has called me today.

when I reached there at his gate and inserted the new sim to call him, I got cal
l from Musarrat Baji. He was asking about health, weather and whats up these day
s. She was also saying that I wanted to call as its going to be 3rd jan tonight
so wanted to wish Birthday as well. Aslam Sahb saw me from the the balcony outsi
de and came to open the door and I said bye to Musarrat baji. Me and Aslam Sahb
had chat, smoked, dinner and smoke again and tea. Then I came back to home and t
ook pictures of my laptop and started using it.
3rd january
00:00 I got msg from Nida for birthday wish and it was 04 o clock in Pakistan bu
t 12:00 here. She also said that she will talk to me next day and she called me
next day for it but could not attend her call as I was not feeling well.

its 5 20 now and i am going to sleep..

in evening i got msgs from Ruby & Bhabhi for birthday wishes
tuesday (4th january)
Although i was invisible on skype and usually do not chat with people..
Waqas Khalid came online and i had not talked with him for long time
so i started chat with him, and talked about the master's degree, courses & thes
is
he told me about number of master thesis availabkle from CSEM-UAE
i have checked the website earlier but did not see these projects
these projects were in the mid of list of available thesis so may be i did not r
ealize them that these were new
he told me and i saw the projects, as I was waiting for these projects because S
haban had told me about these earlier.
So after talking with him, i again started looking on the projects and tried to
make changes in my CV
at about 22:30 ghalib came in room and asked me to show my new laptop as ghalib
& farooq wanted to see my laptop
then we started playing games and became free at about 07:30 or 08:00 am(i think
)
wednesday (5th jan)
- i came in room and worked on writing the expression of interest and changing t
he CV, and downloading transcript,
- sent E-mail to Dr Hamid Kayal & Dr Andrew Martin at 09:55 am
-Andrew was on leaves so he has set the auto-message
- got call from home talked to mustafa bhai he was asking about my new laptop, a
bbu he was asking about Aslam Sahb what he was saying to you. I told abbu that h
e was saying, yours dad was tensed that I am not taking money from home. Abbu la
ughed on it and started saying about ammi that yours mom has enough money etc et
c and she is becoming fat and fat. I talked to ammi as well , she was asking tha
t has GH sent you the same laptop which you were asking or not? I said yes and I
was in kitchen, when talking to abbu so abbu has asked me that what is this sou
nd I said I am in kitchen. When talking to ammi, she said that all have eaten fr
om abbu and he has always said us(at home) for not spending money a lot. She was
saying that you just buy the cooked food, dont cook etc.
-Checked email I have got E-mail from Dr Hamid Kayal that they will short list t
he students and will let me know..
thursday (6th jan)
- I had slept very late in the morning, do not remember the time but it was afte
r 09 am
- I checked my KTH id mail and I have got an interview call for Master thesis at
CSEM-UAE on 09th January Sunday. It will be on Skype. I replied back that I am
interested and will be available on given time for interview. I was very happy.
- got call from home talked to GH only. He was asking about the laptop and he wa
s saying about australian immigration as the country's situation is becoming wo
rse and worse. He was discussing about the situation as Salman Taseer was killed
.
- had corridoor dinner and said bye bye to dorris
- played games whole night me, Farooq, Ghalib & Mattia.

sunday (9th january)

- I had an interview with CSEM-UAE at 02:00 (Sweden Standard Time). Interview we
nt fine and it continued for about 15 minutes. I was happy & CEO of the company
had given hint which seemed that he was ok with me but will decide which project
he will be giving me for thesis. Lets see what happens now..
-I was very happy with the interview and slept after that because could not slee
p well last night
-Went to Zahid's place & had dinner, after that i did cutting of his hair (tind)
;).
-came back to the home and was going to room but Maarit was sitting in kitchen w
ith other corridor mates and she called me, all wished "Happy birthday to me"..
-she offered me some chocolates as well.
Monday (10th january)
-it was last date for submitting Measurement techniques assignment.
- I had gone to university at 16:00 although I had planned with Shahid Siyal to
come in morning but went late
-completed the assignments and submitted.. the result was announced on the same
day for measurement techniques and I could not pass:(

Thursday (13th january)

Although I slept very late in the morning today and was checking daily my mail f
or what happened about my master thesis after i gave the interview. I had also t
hought to meet Andrew, and also went to meet him in his office once on 11th janu
ary but it was evening i think he had left and was not in office.
I woke up in the evening and when I read this e-mail. I was so happy about it.

-I had 50 50 mood to give an exam of Energy policy because my overall grade was
B but then I decided in night not to give and did not read anything..
-I replied back to them that I am interested.
Friday (14th january)
I woke up in the evening at about 19:00 and took shower
As the corridor mates were giving a surprize party to Maarit because she was lea
ving on sunday 16th, and it had started at 19:15
I took the shower and went to the kitchen for the party, it was fully crowded wi
th mostly girls & corridor mates
I met with Maarit, She hugged me and i wished her
enjoyed the party
saturday (15th january)
Faizan woke me up at 15:00 as it was plan for today for skating at Kungstragarde
n
then i took a shower and had breakfast
i asked others to leave and i will join you fast
i went there and joined them for skating
Kathi gave training for a whole round
and then i tried, also fell many times
but it was very tiring and good experience
then we came back at around 19:00
Sunday ( 16th January)
I got mail from Sujata and she forwarded my mail to Rajesh as I needed his email
id
she also forwarded my mail to Mrs Asiya Sheikh HR manager for visa and other pur
poses
i had chat with Nida, as I was getting calls from her for a few days but did not
pick
She was tensed as her mother had asked her for marrying someone to whome her sis
ter has rejected to marry.
After talking to her I went to Abdullah's place as he had invited me last night
for coming to dinner at his appartment.
Monday (17th january)
I have not slept yet and sent e mail to Rajesh Reddy for asking about software &
mailed to Mrs Asiya Sheikh for asking about contract & visa information
Tuesday (18th January)
I think this was the day or may be yesterday. I sent msg to Mustafa that no one
is talking to me at home,, whats up these days? Then i got call from home and ta
lked to Mustafa, ammi, abbu & GH. I told them that I have got thesis in UAE and
they asked me some questions. I talked to Abbu and he was saying that have you c
ompleted urs degree as you are coming to UAE then I told Abbu that its thesis an
d when I 'll complete it so my degree will be completed. He was also asking abou
t the money & Aslam Sahb so I told him that I have not met him again but I will
meet him and take money if needed. Talked to ammi as well and she was asking abo
ut the money and eating..GH was asking that why you did not do it at university
or in Europe? i told him its an opportunity and he was also asking that where di
d you come to know about this? So I told him that it has collaboration with our
uni and was diplayed on noticeboard. He asked me about the company's website too
.
I then asked them to send me the names of Abbu & Ammi as per written in their pa
ssport. They called me again and told the names.

sunday (30th jan)

I got call from home,, talked to Mustafa, GH & ammi.. Ammi looked that she was m
issing me so much and was talking very slow.. may be it was night as well..
Monday (31st jan)
I went for dinner at 12 and after sometime Filipa and her mexican friend came..
we had a good chat for some time and we were watching Ice scating(jumping) and w
ere making guess of the legnth of the jump and something for chat..
Filipa said why Xian always do not come, why it is incoveninet time for him not
to come for dinner as she has written on the page that she cannot come.. I said
you can understand better than me, she said why? I said you are a girl :) ( I me
ant to her menses and she understood and was smiling)
Tuesday (1st feb)
went to uni
took the printout of appointment letter & code of conduct
signed them & scanned them but when Nomi sent me it was not ok as I have install
ed scanner on his laptop in AHPT lab because the computer was not working for wh
ich scanner was installed & on other computer it required administration privile
ge to install scanner driver
I came with Zahid to his place but before that we went to Morby centrum & bought
chicken from Hemkop
Made chicken and had dinner
discussed some supplementary issuess with him and came back home at 12:00
I then came to ghalib's room & teased his as he was watching Pak vs Newzeland hi
ghlights.. he wanted to see whole but i then said him to see only last remianing
batting of Pakistan
We then played Football
Ghalib(barcelona) was defeated by Farooq(chelsea) by 7 to 4 goals
Me(Germany) defeated Farooq(chelsea) by 6 to 1 goal
Me(Germany) defeated Ghalib(Barcelona) by 9 to 3 goals
Me(Germany) dedeated Farooq(Barcelona) by 8 to 3 goals in Final
Ghalib was so angry after first defeat from Farooq and even after from me as wel
l.. His bloodpressure was so high and he was tensed.. After we played final, I t
ried to take him outside as me and farooq were going for smoking.. wanted to tak
e him out for fresh air although he has gone earlier for smoking when we were pl
aying final. It take a lot of time to take him out as he was not in mood for it.
then in last he said, I am coming ok because of you.. I said ok I will write i
t in my diary... he said you will wrte in diary the one who does not even write
his notes.. ( he wwanted to make joke here)
then we smoked and came back to room.
Monday (7th feb)
Mustafa called me and talked to him as he was asking when are you coming,, whats
up no lift to us :)
Ammi talked to me as she was asking about the money, she was saying that abbu ha
s called us to call me to ask do i have money
