THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BUYING MY PATTERN & FOR

I’m thrilled to share my love of crochet (& all of the Please check out my facebook page when you have the

thing I do ask, is that you please respect my work &
do not share, copy, or reproduce any of my patterns. Always, B. Crochet-tive <3
Like other crocheters out there who take the valuable
time to design, perfect, & write up patterns, it took me
hours upon hours getting it ready for sale. In the end, I
definitely have a newfound respect for all of my favorite TABLE OF CONTENTS:
pattern designers!

crafting about six years ago, & ran my own small
jewelry business for some time. Personally, I like
crocheting more ;) I’m a huge supporter of Autism
awareness (both myself, & my two children are on
the spectrum), I’m married to the love of my life, & I
ADORE all types of animals. If I’m caught up on
housework, the fam is out & about/busy, & I’m not
crocheting, you can usually find me curled up in my
favorite chair with a good book & a hot cup of cocoa ;)

That’s pretty much all there is to know about me…

Making your invisible decreases this way, as I do, will

I only use an invisible decrease when the decreases are

wings. The specific type of yarn that I used
• st. - Stitch for my wings is actually labeled as a (2) weight,
• Sc - Single Crochet however, I doubled up the strands to achieve a (4)
• Hdc - Half Double Crochet weight (worsted yarn) in thickness because I really
wanted to use glittery silver yarn & it was the only
• Dc - Double Crochet kind I could find locally. Any worsted weight yarn

to double up the strands later to make them)

SPECIAL NOTES:
Measurement: Approximately 1 1/2” in diameter for the
ball & about 3 ½-4” H w/ the wings, finished.

Unless otherwise noted by me (or any designer really),

Amigurumi is meant to be crocheted tight enough so
that the stuffing doesn’t show through after you stuff it.

I recommend using the Invisible Sc Dec technique

throughout your stuffie whenever directed to Sc Dec. It RD 5.-7. Sc x 24. (24st.)

Knot the four strands hanging off the end tightly

together & trim the two shorter strands off. I weaved
one of the two remaining strands in through the tip of
the wing (right next to the other strand) & used these
two strands to tie each wing onto the ball.

Wings (make 2 in your Platinum Silver

yarn) –
For this part of the pattern (if you’re using a (2) weight
yarn as I did), you’re going to be doubling up the yarn
to ensure that the wings come out to be the right size
for your Ornament. If you’re using a worsted weight
yarn (4), you’ll only need the one strand & can disre-
gard these directions.

To make each of the wings -

Dc x 2, Hdc x 1, Sc x 1, & Sl st x 3 across. (19st.)

Time to attach your Ornament pieces! –

Using your tapestry needle & the strand still attached
to a wing, we’re going to sew each wing on towards the
top of the ball, over a stitch in RD 3. (please see finished
photos for reference). After you finish, cut your working
yarn, leaving a 2-3” strand. Knot/tie off this strand and
weave it in. Pull it through for the last time, trim, & push

*Tip: I recommend Spray Starching the wings to make

them more stiff/better stay in place* And you’re done! I hope you enjoyed making
