Mark Bezos is a volunteer firefighter in his

town. At his first fire, he was the second

volunteer to arrive, so he lost the opportunity to
save the house owner’s dog, but was sent to bring a
pair of shoes for the barefoot women, who’s house
was on fire. He felt his action was insignificant,
but, after a few weeks, the homeowner sent a letter
thanking the fire department, in particular for
saving her shoes. This means that, in life,
although from our point of view, some small deeds
or gestures we make are unimportant, they can mean
a lot to the people around us: ‘THEY ALL MATTER’.
Another precept is that we dont need to be rich, or
‘reach the first million’ to be HUMAN. If we we can
do anything to help someone, we should not
hesitate to do so: ’DON’T WAIT!’ says Mark.
