Regarding Initial Licensure in Early Childhood Education
 
To Whom It May Concern:
 
I am applying for Initial Licensure in Early Childhood Education, Birth through Grade 3 Endorsement
code 0, partial licensure for Birth to Preschool only.  Currently, I am a Preschool teacher at Derby
Elementary School and am in my second year. I hold a B.S. in Education with a minor in
Psychology.   Becoming a teacher is a lifelong dream of mine, and I believe my qualifications and
motivation to continue to learn and to develop professionally will make me an asset to Vermont’s
educational community.
 
I feel I have completed the required educational and practicum experiences to qualify for the Birth to
Preschool partial licensure I am seeking.  It is unfortunate that Keene State was not able to provide
me with a letter of recommendation for licensure due to New Hampshire educator licensing requiring
no licensure for this position therefore there was no license to reciprocate.
