Why nickel based alloys can't be strengthen by heat treatment?

How the strengthening of nickel based alloy can be done?

Q1) The Ni alloys cannot be strengthened by heat treatment because the Nickel is an austenite
stabilizer element (extends gamma phase) and the material remains austenitic from melting point
to low temperature. So, since phase transformation into martensite does not occur, the Ni-alloys
steels cannot be strengthened by h.t.

Q2) The strength of Ni Alloys can be increased by cold working (also called work hardening). In
fact, ductile materials become stronger when they are deformed at low temperatures. The
strength increases because the average distance between dislocations decrease and so since the
density of dislocations increase, they start blocking each other, preventing their motion, which
lead to an increase of the material strength. However, this increase of strength lead to a
reduction of ductility and so the material shall undergo heat treatment to restore the ductility
after cold working. This can be done by recovery and recrystallization process.
