I am honoured to be able to write this letter of recommendation for Michayla Hochstein.

She completed a 16 week practicum under my supervision. She taught grade 7 math
and science. She was responsible for creating and implementing entire units, as well as
completing all formative and summative assessments. It was great to work with
someone with her passion for the profession and dedication to the school environment.
She is a skilled, organized person who seeks to develop inspiring relationships with
those around her.

Michayla was an exceptional student teacher. I was able to rely on her at all times to be
responsive and self-motivated. The lessons she created and taught were motivating and
original. Michayla had a wonderful rapport with everyone, especially her students. She
created a learning environment where the students felt comfortable to ask her
questions, try their best, and make mistakes. Michayla continued to deliver engaging
lessons while maintaining a good connection with students when we transitioned to
online learning. She is proficient with Google Suite and incorporates a variety of online
platforms into her lessons such as virtual simulations, Kahoot, Quizizz, Youtube, etc.

I recommend Michayla to you without reservation. She would be an asset to any
