Conduction, Convection & Radiation

Things  get  hot  and  things get cold, that much we know. The question is: why? What is happening to
the material that is causing this change in temperature?

You  have  now  learned  about  conduction,  convection and radiation. Using your notes as a reference
(and  pages  226  &  229-230  in  the  textbook,  if  necessary),  your  task  is  to  create  a  poster  or
brochure that explains these concepts. Your project needs to include the following items:

❒  A definition of each concept  2 marks each, 6 marks total

❒ A colourful example showing the particle

  behaviour in each concept
4 marks each, 12 marks total

❒ A colourful example of each concept
