SEMINAR ON PROSPECTIVE HIGHER EDUCATION AND

COMPETITIVE EXAMS
Department of Commerce and Career Counselling Cell conducted a Seminar on
“Prospective Higher Education And Competitive Exams” on 23/3/2019 at
09.10am for the students of B.Com and BBA. The Resource Persons were Ms.
Vidya H. Pawar, Group Head, Fox Mandal & Association, Ms. Rupa Sree
Yekkirala, Regional Business Head, Logic School of Management and Mr.
Sanjeeb Paul, Product Head, Learnpedia Edutech Pvt. Ltd.

The first session was on Company Secretary in Corporate World by Ms. Vidya
H. Pawar. She emphasized on transitioning role of company secretary from being
a support person to becoming one of the key governance positions within
a corporation. The second session was on Career prospects in finance by Rupa
Sree Yekkirala, who emphasized on various careers in the field of finance. The
third session was on Career Guidance in Competitive Exams-GMAT, MAT, and
Government Service Exams by Mr. Sanjeeb Paul. He interacted with the students
and explored the various ways of clearing competitive exams.

The program enabled the students to know the enormous benefits to communities
and economies around the globe through various career prospects. The students
actively participated in the program by interacting with the resource persons by
gathering information about the future prospects in the career.
