INFORMATION FOR DISTRIBUTORS
JUNE 2018
Dear friends,
You surely remember the introduction of the LööK set in Nurnberg
in early February. If not, I just remind you these are the combined
sets of the resin dashboard and steel photoetch seatbelts for one
aircraft, both basic components are pre-painted and the dashboard
has the glassed instruments. The installation in should be extremely
easy, without a necessity to sand or cut something to fit the set to the
kit. These sets are developed in 1/32nd scale right now, are wor-
king hard on development of the sets in 1/48, which are much more
technically complicated, smaller scales, 1/72nd mainly, are still out
of our technical ability. Two first set are going to be introduced in
June, these are sets for P-51D-5 Mustang by Revell and F4U-1A by
Tamiya, both in mentioned 1/32nd scale. Concerning the item number
order, these sets are subline of the BRASSIN line, with the item number
with prefix 634.
Talking about BRASSIN, let me note you some interesting item
in Brassin line first. For example, the BigSin set for Spitfire Mk.VIII
in 1/72nd scale could be useful for anyone who buy 1/72nd scale
Spitfire Mk.VIII ProfiPack kit right now, it is still fresh April release. We
do have the RS-2US air to air missiles and UB-16 rocket launchers
in the same scale, both designed for MiG-21, both released in two
packing variants with pylons and without pylons. In 1/48th scale, we
continue with the releasing of the sets for Tamiya´s Bf 190G-6, with
small set of the dust filter and large cockpit set, in this case for G-6/
U4 version, which is subversion equipped by 30 mm fuselage cannon.
Note the cockpit set 648405 Bf 109G-6 cockpit 1/48, released in
May block of releases, represents cockpit of the standard G-6 equi-
pped by 20 mm cannon. Which is the version not included in the kit,
btw, and it is good to know, as such knowledge could help better sell
the set, I guess.
There are also some trifles, wheels and exhausts, for Typhoon Mk.Ib
in 1/48th scale in the news list, which are there because the Typhoon
is the first star of month again in July. We bring the third Typhoon
release in Limited Edition line, this one represents the final production

version with larger horizontal fin of the Tempest type and four bla-
de propeller. These fin and propeller are resin cast by Eduard, with
Eduard mask, photoetch and decals printed by Cartograf, with very
colorful marking options, at least in the context of British WWII figh-
ters. It is expected this one should be like the other Typhoons released
before and sold out in the order of days, so please don´t hesitate with
the preorder. We do have 3000 pcs. There are two Limited Edition
kits released in June, because there is the D-Day anniversary again
which is good occasion to release a special item dedicated to D-day.
We decided to scale down the successful LONGEST DAY 1/48th item
released in the past, so we do have 1/72nd scale LONGEST DAY with
two Spitfires Mk.IX including famous beer Spitfire. It should be similar
like Typhoon, there are 1500 only released, so don´t hesitate with this
one too. The ProfiPack line brings Fw 190A-3, and Weekend line L-29
Delfin with attractive tiger camouflage.
Concerning the PE and Mask accessories, I like the sets for Fl 282
Kolibri in 1/35th scale (attached to 1/32nd scale aircraft PE and
mask sublines), but it is just my personal preference. More interesting
are tank sets, three for Kingtiger by Takom, two for Centurion Mk.III
released by Tamiya. We revised the sets for Swordfish by Tamiya in
1/48th, the new sets are here today too, and see also mask set for
Tamiya´s brand new Ki-61-Id in 1/72nd scale. There are also sets
for Blenheim Mk.IV by Airfix and F-35B by Hasegawa in 1/72nd
scale, and in 1/32nd scale, we do have significant amount of brass
for Tempest Mk.VI by Special Hobby, as well as for Bü 131 by ICM.
There are also PE sets and mask sets including TFace type mask for
mentioned L-29 Delfin.
