Interpreted for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing inside a school setting. Followed students
throughout the school day to each class. Facilitated the communication between students and
teachers. Responsible for ensuring the students moved about the campus appropriately.
Reported to the Deaf Education teacher on student’s progress, struggle’s, or needs inside their
mainstream classes.

DAYCARE TEACHER, HAPPYLAND PRESCHOOL
I began working as an afterschool student teacher. The ages of the children ranged from 4yrs-
12yrs of age. I was responsible for maintaining accountability of the children, keeping
appropriate schedules, and maintain a safe yet fun environment. I also worked in other rooms
when other teachers were absent. After 7 months I was then placed in charge of the 12 month-
24 month old room and was responsible for the toddlers in that classroom as well. I maintained
lesson plans, schedules, and focused on language acquisition through play, reading, and
differentiated activities.

POLICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT, DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY POLICE
Variety of roles that was conducted in various areas and offices throughout the police station.
Responsible for answering 3 different non-emergency phone lines and assisting the local military
community on Base. Responsible for filtering and transferring emergency phone calls if not
directly dialed to 911. Responsible for maintaining a daily journal of individuals who proceeded
to the station requesting assistance from Law Enforcement. Assisted patrols with subject
searching, in processing, and out-processing from their detainment. Assisted patrols with
inputting case information. Conducted criminal background checks for weapons approval, and
approval for gaining access and working on the installation.
