    He loved to play computer


    Write a story based on the pictures below. You may use the games even when exams were coming soon. He was too engrossed

    provided. Write your story between 80 and 100 words. parents had advised him many times but he was on deaf ears 当耳边

    decided 决定 to put away his games and started to study.
    Unfortunately 不幸的, there were too many things for him
    – engrossed 全神贯注 – games – to study. He was panic as （because） there was not much
    neglected 忽略 – studies time left. Then, he decided to burn his midnight oil 开夜车
    and studied until late midnight.

    The next day, John overslept 睡迟. He was late to


    school and he missed 错 过 his first paper. His teacher
    scolded him for his irresponsible action 不负责任的行为. He
    regretted and promised to change his attitude 态度 from
