What are the steps involved in tissue repair? Explain the process of tissue repair.

Their are three steps in tissue repair and they are inflamation, organzied and restored blood supply,
and regeneration of fibrosis.

In the inflamation stage inflamatory chemicals, blood protiens, clotting protien, and plasma protiens
are released when blood vessels become damaged and start to bleed. These processes rush to the
injurry and start clotting.A scab is then formed.

In the organazation and restored blood supply stage granulation tissue take the place of the scab
and epithelium starts to regenerate. Collagen rich fibroblast begins to fuse the gap together.

In the regeneration and fibrosis stage the scab is dimininshing and fiberous tissues mature. The
epithelium starts to look like the surrounding tissue. The regenerated epithelium has underlying scar
tissue.
Pike one tissue type or subtype that regenerates very well and explain why it does

A tissue type that regenerates well is connective tissue. The process of connective tissue repair is
refered to as parenchymal. This process starts by the formation of granulation tissue. This type of
tissue matures quickly. It regenerates the wounded area that’s been damaged by scarring.

Pick one tissue type or subtype that regenerates very poorly and explain why it does not
regenerate well.

Skeletal Tissue regenerates very poorly due to the fact that skeletal fibers cannot divide. These
fibers lay down protein and enlarge. This is refered to as hypertrophy. This takes place most
commonly when engaging in exercise.
