Dear Sir,

I have gone through the manuscript entitled “Measurement and comparison of Control Rod worth BTRR

using INHOUR equations and period reactivity conversion table “.

The paper presents the differential and integral Worth curve of three different control rods of BAEC
TRIGA research reactor, using the positive period method with different folding times .

The reactivity for the different cases has been calculated from INHOUR equation and period reactivity
conversion table.

Although the method used is rather conventional, the collected data, their analysis and graphical
presentation in respect of maximum and minimum reactivity of the central rod obtained from the
folding times measurements are useful for the operational safety of the reactor.

The paper is well written and the results are well presented. Slight corrections in the language have
been marked in the manuscript.The paper is recommended for publication in JBAS.
