AUDIT OF CI PIPING AT PLANT B & C FOR CORROSION AND

LEAKAGE POTENTIAL
A detailed visual audit of all the cast iron piping at Plant B & C was conducted and the following piping
was identified as having the potential for leakage:

1) CI Pipe on MOL Duty, 3” X 72”, between LSA Area and RO Plant Entrance. (Complete)
2) CI Pipe on MOL Duty, 3” X 72”, at LSA Area near feed hopper # 2 (Complete)
3) CI Pipe on MOL Duty, 3” X 36”, West side of LSA Area.
4) CI Pipe on MOL Duty, 3” X 36” above MOL Pump # 1,2. (Complete)
5) CI Bend on MOL Duty, 3”,45 degrees, above walkway to Kiln Entrance stairs. (Complete)
6) CI Pipe on MOL Duty, 3” X 72”, at Kiln Bridge just above DA Plant entrance. ( 02 lengths)

7) CI bend, 3”, 90 degrees, near LSA Transfer Pump # A, on soda liquor duty.
8) Spray Pump # 2 & 3 common delivery line, 4” X 48”, at Old Pump House NSDB.
9) Spray Delivery header near Flat Basin # 3, 4” X 48” (03 Lengths)
10) Flat Pumps for flat basin # 2, delivery header, 5” X 36” piece. at New pump house. (Complete)
11) Dissolving cell delivery line from Drain to Water reservoir, 5” X 36” (7 pieces).
12) Circulation pump suction line, 4” X 48” (02 pieces) and 4” X 24” (01 piece) with reducer (4” X 3”)
13) Flat basin # 2 spray main at south side, 6” X 72”, (04 pieces)
